Minhaj University Lahore co-hosted the 3rd ICMSME 2025 with Universitas Ibn Khaldun, Bogor, Indonesia, on the theme “SMEs in the Digital Age: Embracing Technology Shifts and Advancing Inclusive Prosperity through Islamic Economics.”

Prof. Dr. Khurram Shahzad (Registrar, MUL) delivered a keynote on Education, Digital Literacy & Human Capital Development for SMEs, while Dr. Waqas Shair (CEPD, MUL) presented research on Digital Literacy & Entrepreneurial Gender Gaps. Prof. Dr. Khurram Shahzad also signed MoAs with Universitas Ibn Khaldun.

The Directorate of Global Linkages, Minhaj University Lahore, facilitated the signing of an MoU with the Council for Higher Education, Research, and Development (CHERD) under the Central Board of Muhammadiyah—the most influential modern Islamic NGO in Indonesia, founded in 1912 by K.H. Ahmad Dahlan in Yogyakarta.

📍 At the Muhammadiyah Central Board Headquarters in Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Khurram Shahzad, Registrar MUL, was warmly received by:
