The 4-day academic and exposure tour of BS (Hons) Agriculture 8th Semester to esteemed research and educational institutions including AARI, UAF, BARI, AI Hydroponic MOD, PMAS Arid Agriculture University, NARC, HFRS Murree, and the Honey Bee Research Station Murree proved to be highly informative and enriching for the students. The tour provided valuable insights into modern agricultural practices, research advancements, and real-time field applications.

Each visit was thoughtfully planned to broaden the academic horizons of our students, linking their theoretical knowledge with practical understanding. The interaction with experts and researchers at each station sparked curiosity and inspired many to pursue research and innovation in agriculture.

We are deeply grateful to Dr. Umbreen Shahzad, Chairperson, Department of Agriculture, University of Layyah, for her continuous support, encouragement, and approval of this tour. Her vision and commitment to student development made this successful academic journey possible.

چیئر پرسن شعبہ ااینٹومولوجی ڈاکٹر اظہر عباس خان اور ریسرچ سپروائزر ڈاکٹر مبشر ملک کے زیر نگرانی اینٹو مولوجی فائنل ائیر کے طالب پیر سید مرتضیٰ شاہ،(Cabbage Aphid)کے مختلف کیڑے مار دوا کی افادیت کے عنوان کے پروجیکٹ پر کام کر رہے ہیں تاکہ کنٹرول حاصل کیا جا سکے کیونکہ یہ براسیکی اور اس کے تیل کی پیداوار پر اثر انداز ہوتا ہے.

You must have seen me in your field.I am a `Ladybird Beetle`...🐞
I would like to tell you a little about myself.Many people also know me as a lady bug, lady cow or lady fly.Some people get panic due to my presence in the field. They think that I am harmful to their crops and want to remove me from their crops.
But the reality is that I am a beneficial insect and remove many insect pests from field of farmers.I eat soft boded insects like aphids, jasids , mites and eggs of different insect pests.So , I help the farmers to save their crops from harmful effects of these pests and I am a gift of God.

آپ نے مجھے اپنے کھیت میں دیکھا ہوگا۔میں ایک 'لیڈی برڈ بیٹل' ہوں...
میں آپ کو اپنے بارے میں کچھ بتانا چاہتا ہوں۔ بہت سے لوگ مجھے لیڈی بگ، لیڈی کاؤ یا لیڈی فلائی کے نام سے بھی جانتے ہیں۔ کچھ لوگ فصل میں میری موجودگی سے گھبرا جاتے ہیں۔ وہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ میں ان کی فصلوں کے لیے نقصان دہ ہوں اور مجھے اپنی فصلوں سے ختم کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔
لیکن حقیقت یہ ہے کہ میں ایک کسان دوست کیڑا ہوں اور کسانوں کی فصلوں سے بہت سے نقصان دہ کیڑے ختم کر دیتا ہوں۔ میں نرم جسم والے کیڑے جیسے سست تیلہ، چست تیلہ، مائٹس اور مختلف کیڑے مکوڑوں کے انڈوں کو اپنی خوراک بناتا ہوں۔ اس طرح میں کسانوں کی فصلوں سے نقصان دہ کیڑوں کو ختم کرنے میں ان کی مدد کرتا ہوں ۔ میں انسانوں کے لئے قدرت کی طرف سے ایک انعام ہوں۔
