Alif School & Girls College

For the oneness of Allah and the equality of all our creatures under Him. Alif is the first letter of the Arabic language, it corresponds to the Latin ‘Alpha’ from which the English language also beings. Perhaps most importantly Alif begins in the name of Allah, and it is in the name of the Almighty, that we source our purpose for this college. Alif is at the beginning of knowledge so, at Alif College, our work begins at the foundation of our kid's life skills. We impart critical life skills alongside academic knowledge while developing a love of learning, and learning how to learn. This is the foundation for lifetime growth. Why a college exclusively for girls? Girls nurture the foundation of society. A well-educated mother is the start of a strong family for generations to come. A woman with knowledge and leadership qualities can transform any organization. That’s why the first step to improving our family and society starts with training and educating our girls. The well-educated girl of today is the strong mother of tomorrow, the lynchpin of a good family and society forever. Vision:

At Alif College, we start at the very beginning. We ask what skill and knowledge do girls today need to become the lynchpins of a good family and/or the leader of a great organization of tomorrow? Our students learn the skills to acquire knowledge while retaining a reverence for our strong cultural and religious traditions. We inculcate a love of learning so students continue to grow long after they have completed their education. By the time they graduate, Alif College Alumni will be a strong network of women who help each other succeed, who have a passion for learning and an ability to learn how to master any task whether it's how to raise a family, how to pursue further educational opportunities or excel in a career.
