🌱 Climate Resilient Punjab: Awareness Seminar Held at GACW Basti Malook, Multan
An awareness seminar on “Climate Resilient Punjab – Vision Action Plan 2024” was conducted at Government Associate College for Women (GACW), Basti Malook, Multan.
The seminar aimed to create awareness among students regarding climate change challenges and the importance of adopting environmentally responsible practices for a sustainable future.
Students attended an interactive session focused on:
Understanding the causes and impacts of climate change
Reducing carbon footprints through simple daily practices
Promoting tree plantation and eco-friendly habits
Conserving water and energy resources
Encouraging waste management through reduce, reuse, and recycle strategies
Building awareness about sustainable lifestyles and climate resilience

A seminar of "Massage of Pakistan: National narrative on peace" as per the direction of Higher Education Department was conducted at the Govt. Associate College for Women Basti Malook. The Principal of GACW Basti Maluk Pro. Nuzhat Riaz, faculty members and students attended the seminar. The seminar started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Na'at Rasool Maqbool (SAW). The guest speaker Ms. Mehwish Shafiq lecturer department of Applied Psychology The Women University Multan shared the valuable insights on the importance of peace in society. She highlighted the role of youth in fostering national cohesion and emphasized the need to counter extremism through education, dialogue, and mutual respect. She elaborated on the core elements of the national narrative, stressing patriotism, interfaith harmony, and responsible citizenship. The guest speaker encouraged students to become ambassadors of peace and play an active role in building a tolerant and progressive society.

Report: Marka-e-Haq Poster Competition

The term Marka-e-Haq holds deep significance in Pakistan's national history. It refers to the defining struggle of May 2025 when the armed forces and people of Pakistan stood united to defend the sovereignty and ideological frontiers of the homeland. 10th May is observed annually as Marka-e-Haq to pay tribute to the martyrs and ghazis who, with unmatched courage wrote a golden chapter of sacrifice. The spirit of Marka-e-Haq is not limited to the battlefield, it embodies the eternal values of truth, resilience, unity, and unwavering faith that continue to inspire generations of Pakistanis.
In order to make commemoration of Marka-e-Haq a poster and painting competition was organized at Govt.Associate College for Women Basti Maluk Multan today dated 05-05-2026. The competition proved to be a successful initiative in fostering historical awareness and patriotism. The artwork displayed not only reflected talent but also a deep emotional connection with the sacrifices of our heroes.
