BGNU, Motorway Police Hold Road Safety Seminar to Promote Responsible Driving Practices
Reinforcing the importance of civic responsibility and public safety, Baba Guru Nanak University Nankana Sahib, in collaboration with the National Highways & Motorway Police-NHMP, organized an awareness seminar on road safety management for students and faculty.
The session was facilitated by Mehran Hanif, Focal Person of the Motorway Police, who delivered an informative presentation on key aspects of road safety. His talk covered responsible driving attitudes, traffic rules, road signs and markings, lane discipline, identification of hazardous conditions, and proper parking practices.
Emphasizing the role of awareness in preventing road accidents, the resource person encouraged participants to adopt safe driving behaviors and adhere strictly to traffic regulations in order to ensure personal and public safety.
The seminar concluded with an interactive Q&A session, allowing students to engage directly with the speaker and clarify practical concerns related to road usage.
Faculty members and students attended the session in large numbers, reflecting strong interest in promoting a culture of safety and responsible conduct on roads.
