🚭 CHOOSING LIFE, HEALTH & A BETTER FUTURE 🌿

On the occasion of World No To***co Day, Young Peace and Development Corps (YPDC UON) stands united in raising awareness about the harmful effects of to***co on individuals, communities, and future generations.

📌 Facts That Matter:

• More than 8 million people die every year due to to***co use worldwide.
• Around 1.3 million deaths occur annually because of second-hand smoke exposure.
• To***co use costs the global economy over $1.4 trillion every year in healthcare expenses and lost productivity.
• Over 80% of to***co users live in low and middle-income countries.
• To***co pollution damages soil, water, air, and contributes to environmental destruction.

To***co not only harms health — it weakens communities, affects youth potential, and threatens sustainable development.

As youth leaders and peace ambassadors, YPDC UON remains committed to promoting healthy lifestyles, youth empowerment, social responsibility, and a smoke-free future for Pakistan.

“Every cigarette is a step toward the end. Choose life, not to***co.”

COMMEMORATING YOUM-E-TAKBEER AMIDST THE BLESSINGS OF EID-UL-ADHA🇵🇰🌙

On this 28th of May, the YPDC UON solemnly commemorate Youm-e-Takbeer--->marking the historic day the mountains of Chagai echoed with greatness, establishing Pakistan’s strategic sovereignty as a decisive response to India's nuclear aggression.
As we celebrate the festive blessings of Eid-ul-Adha, we offer our profound tributes to Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan for rendering the nation's defense permanently invincible.
Aligning the spirit of sacrifice with the ideals of Azm, Eitmad, and Khud Mukhtari (Determination, Confidence, and Self-Reliance), we reaffirm that true national strength is built when strategic security is paired with peace, education, and youth empowerment. Together, let us work toward a secure and prosperous tomorrow.
