The Provincial Institute of Teacher education PITE Sindh shall be responsible for implementing pre-services teacher education and continuous professional development programs based on school educational standards and curriculum for developing professionally competent teachers, teacher educators and head teachers. A meeting was held at the HR Office under the chairmanship of Honourable Mr. Zahid Ali Abbasi, Secretary, School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh.
The meeting was attended by Respected Mr. Qurban Yaseen, DG M&E & HR, and Director General PITE, Mr. Shuhab u Din Mallah.
The meeting focused on important matters related to institutional affairs, human resources, monitoring and evaluation, and strengthening the education sector. Visit of Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khokhar to PITE
Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khokhar, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, visited PITE Sindh and delivered an insightful session on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Administrative Leadership.
The session highlighted the growing role of AI in education, administration, decision-making, and effective leadership, with particular emphasis on emerging technologies such as Khanmigo and AI-enabled learning and administrative tools.
Director General PITE, Mr. Shuhab Din Mallah, warmly welcomed Professor Khokhar and appreciated his valuable contribution to professional learning and capacity building.
During his visit, Professor Khokhar highly appreciated the Green PITE Initiative of the Director General and commended the efforts to develop a clean, green, and environmentally friendly learning environment at PITE.

Mr. Abdul Qudos Khoso, Head of the Green PITE Initiative, is actively working towards transforming the PITE Sindh campus into a greener, cleaner, and more environmentally sustainable institution.

Official Visit to PITE Sindh

Director HR, Mr. Kishore Kumar, Director HR, Ms. Shadab Soomro, and Deputy Director, Mr. Danish Memon, visited PITE Sindh during the Mandatory Residential Training for Headmasters/Headmistresses (BS-18 to BS-19).

The senior officials interacted with the trainees and received reflections regarding the academic and logistical facilities provided by PITE Sindh. The trainees appreciated the quality of training, conducive campus environment, and residential facilities provided at the PITE hostels.

The officials also appreciated the online facilities developed by PITE for daily mock tests, which support continuous assessment and effective preparation of the participants.

The visiting officials particularly appreciated the visible transformation and development at PITE Sindh, especially the Green PITE initiative, which has enhanced the campus environment and created a more pleasant, healthy, and learning-friendly atmosphere.

Visit of Deputy Secretary to Mandatory Training – BS-18 to BS-19

Honourable Deputy Secretary, Mr. Rafique Ahmed Junejo, visited the Mandatory Residential Training for Head Masters/Headmistresses (BS-18), a prerequisite for promotion to BS-19, at PITE Sindh.
During the visit, he observed the training sessions and classrooms along with the Director General PITE and Focal Person, Mr. Ashaque Ali Khoso. He appreciated the conducive classroom environment, quality of training, and professional arrangements made for the participants.
During his visit, Mr. Rafique Ahmed Junejo planted a tree as part of the Green PITE initiative and appreciated the efforts of PITE in developing a clean, green, and learning-friendly campus.
