Dear EMEnents

Our students from humble backgrounds studying in EME college need help from alumni in paying their hostel fee and messing expenses. Most of them are already getting financial assistance from other sources in tuition fee, including NUST Need Based, but due to high inflation they still need assistance in hostel and messing expenses.

With Ramzan approaching in less than 2 weeks, we expect our alumni to send some of their Zakat and donations to help these juniors. A dedicated Zakat account has been setup and proper due diligence has been done by our alumni volunteers to ensure your money goes to support the eligible and most deserving.

AoA EMEnents

Time has come to offer support to our fellow countrymen who are suffering from one of the worst floods in recent years. EMEnents were at the forefront of relief activities during the 2005 earthquake as well as the floods in 2010. Not to forget the financial support over the last 20 years for 500+ students of EME who all are now graduate engineers. Yet again the nation needs us!!

A team of EME alumni volunteers have teamed up with Tabnak & Azad Pakistan Foundations to support our brothers & sisters affected by severe floods in DG Khan and Taunsa region of South Punjab. Rs. 18,000/- is the amount needed to support basic items for survival and rations for a few days. These items include

Tent
Chatai
Utensils like cooking pot, knife, tawa and ladle
Ration including ata, ghee, pulses etc
Basic medicines for fever, gastro diseases

Pakistan Army is also setting up an account for collecting donations to support relief activities. Details of that account will also be shared on this group.

Please donate generously using the details mentioned below so we can meet our target of supporting at least 1000 x families. We have done it in the past and we will do it again in sha ALLAH.

Please leave a text message on the numbers given below once you transfer the amount for acknowledgement of receipt. JazakAllah
