محترم فیکلٹی ممبران، افسران اور اسٹاف،

مجھے یہ خوشخبری آپ سب کے ساتھ شیئر کرتے ہوئے بے حد خوشی اور فخر محسوس ہو رہا ہے کہ COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) نے U.S. News & World Report کی Best Global Universities Rankings 2026–2027 میں پاکستان کی نمبر 1 یونیورسٹی ہونے کا اعزاز حاصل کر لیا ہے۔

CUI نے عالمی سطح پر 410ویں پوزیشن حاصل کی ہے، جبکہ پاکستان کی دیگر نمایاں جامعات میں قائداعظم یونیورسٹی 451ویں، یونیورسٹی آف لاہور 479ویں، UMT 573ویں اور NUST 590ویں نمبر پر ہیں۔

یہ کامیابی اس لیے بھی نہایت اہم ہے کہ U.S. News کی عالمی رینکنگ میں بالخصوص تحقیقی کارکردگی، تحقیقی ساکھ، معیاری اشاعتوں اور عالمی علمی اثرات کو اہمیت دی جاتی ہے۔ یہ اعزاز CUI کی اعلیٰ معیار کی تحقیق، مؤثر سائنسی اشاعتوں، بین الاقوامی تعاون اور عالمی سطح پر بڑھتی ہوئی علمی شناخت کا واضح اعتراف ہے۔

CUI نے مختلف شعبہ جات میں بھی شاندار عالمی پوزیشن حاصل کی ہے، جن میں Mathematics میں 28ویں، Green and Sustainable Science and Technology میں 67ویں، Electrical and Electronic Engineering میں 151ویں، Artificial Intelligence میں 178ویں اور مجموعی Engineering میں 142ویں پوزیشن شامل ہیں۔ Computer Science، Chemistry اور Chemical Engineering میں بھی CUI کی عالمی حیثیت مضبوط ہے۔

On the auspicious occasion of **Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ**, a spiritually uplifting **Milad Rally** was organized at **COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal Campus** today.

The rally commenced at **9:00 a.m. from Block B** and proceeded towards **Block A**. The atmosphere was filled with devotion and reverence as the participants recited **Naats, Durood-o-Salam**, and expressed their profound love and respect for the **Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ**.

The event was attended by ** Acting Director, Heads of Departments, Incharges, the In-charge Student Affairs, the In-charge Administration, officers, faculty members, and staff**. Their collective participation reflected the spirit of unity, devotion, and respect for the teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.

**Prof. Dr. Shahid Qaisar** had the honor of reciting **Naat and Durood-o-Salam**, adding to the spiritual beauty and solemnity of the occasion.

The gathering concluded with a special **Dua**, in which prayers were offered for **peace, prosperity, unity, and progress of Pakistan**, as well as for the **continued development, success, and betterment of COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal Campus**. Prayers were also offered for the well-being and prosperity of the entire Muslim Ummah.

The Milad Rally was a beautiful manifestation of **love, unity, devotion, and respect for the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ**. Such occasions remind us to follow his teachings of **peace, compassion, justice, honesty, tolerance, and service to humanity**, and to incorporate these noble values into our personal, professional, and social lives.

**May Allah Almighty enable us all to truly follow the teachings and blessed Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Ameen.**
