ASME-CIIT Chapter is feeling privileged to announce the selection of its team in one of the biggest green competitions, Shell Eco Marathon, Asia. Consisting of Manager Zaid Iftikhar, Syed Umar Ali, Asim Bilal, Abdul Manan and Mian Ahmed Iqbal, Team Pak Pride has passed the first hurdle and now looking forward to second phase.
Give these guys a big hand of applause for making the Society, the Institution and the country proud.

ASME - CIIT Chapter is entitled with yet another big achievement in GIKI. Fourteen intelligent minds from CIIT Sahiwal represented ASME - CIIT Chapter in GIKI to win 6 positions in major modules of MatTech - National Symposium on Materials Technology and ChemBuzz, AIChE - GIKI Chapter.

It is with great pleasure that I write to invite your university to our National Event, National Engineering convention & Optics Olympiad NECOO’15 at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute from 1st-3rd May, 2015. The event is one of its kind at the national level mainly covering the domains of Engineering, Business, optics and photonics with some entertaining social activities as well. The event will be a great chance for the students to compete at the National level and display their capabilities at this highly anticipated three day event.
Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology strives to provide an ideal atmosphere for research in science and technology. Besides the studies, the student organized All-Pakistan events held at GIKI, be it technical or social, are recognized nationwide for their competitive spirit and management quality.
SPIE, the Society for Photo-Optics and Instrumentation Engineers, set out to be a beacon for researchers in title fields. With its vast collection of technical papers, a diverse variety of magazines and various conferences in matters of key importance, the Society has helped advance emerging technologies.
SPIE-OSA GIKI Chapter is a well-developed student body at GIKI covering the domains of Engineering, Business, optics and photonics. SPIE-OSA is always looking forward to provide the students with the best opportunities to learn and implement by arranging seminars and arranging various competitions. SPIE-OSA successfully organized 2nd National Engineering convention & Optics Olympiad NECOO’14 last year which appealed massive crowd from the renowned institutes of Pakistan.
This time we aim to organize an even better event and provide a memorable experience to the participants with the introduction of new and exciting modules and social events.
