Fan Page only for Iqra Girls College Community Teachers and Student Director Message! The word ‘IQRA’ itself is a message for study and advancement in knowledge.

The first word which dawned on the Holy Prophet Peace be upon him was ‘IQRA’ which means ‘read’ is the base and foundation of all education when the providence Himself commands. His man to read and the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) himself says that acquiring knowledge is essential for all Muslim women. What option is left for us to remain illiterate and ignorant? There is no other opinion that good mothers bring forth the most dependable generation. It is only the mother who impart the best kind of training and build the character of their off springs. Behind all great men with great characteristic of character there are their mothers who moulded them. Almighty Allah himself admires the flawless and perfect character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). Saying that it is only the character which makes any women are competing with men all the spheres of life. She is working in all the fields side by side with the men keeping in mind many hindrances in the way of the progress of the country and felling lack of chances for the female in the field of education we took this bold step establishing a female college at post graduate level so we can proudly say that we the pioneers of higher education in Sargodha. May our students derive knowledge from Quran and Hadith and the world around us, and may Allah help us to reach and touch the culminations of glory of this world and the world hereafter.
