As per notifications SU/Acad/25/902, SU/Acad/25/903, and SU/Acad/25/904, issued by the Office of the Registrar (Acad Branch), University of Sargodha, the Department of Politics & International Relations has been bifurcated into two departments: Department of Political Science and Department of International Relations.
Following this division, the DPIR Intellectual Forum, with a majority of 90% IR students, will now operate under the Department of International Relations as International Relations - Intellectual Forum (IR-IF). We are thrilled to announce the establishment of IR-IF, a new chapter under the Department of International Relations headed by Prof. Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed. We look forward to fostering intellectual discussions and growth in the field of International Relations through IR-IF. We appreciate the support of all members and look forward to a productive journey ahead! π
We extend heartfelt gratitude to our Political Science members for their invaluable contributions to our shared journey, from organizing events to sparking meaningful discussions. As IR-IF focuses on IR under its new structure, we warmly wish them success in their future endeavors. We wish our colleagues in the Department of Political Science, led by Dr. Asiya Saif Alvi, all the best in their future endeavors and continued academic excellence. We hope both departments continue to thrive and contribute to the academic excellence of the University of Sargodha.
