B.E Environmental Engineering and B.S Environmental Science from any HEC recognized university/institution with 1st division in the academic career.
INSTRUCTIONS:

All the positions are purely temporary, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview. The final selection will be decided by the expert panel based on candidate’s performance in the interview/test.

🌿 AAEES Chapter Established at Mehran University
The Institute of Environmental Engineering & Management (IEEM), Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, has established a chapter of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists (AAEES).
Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Tauha Hussain Ali inaugurated the newly established chapter and highlighted the importance of professional societies in enhancing students’ professional skills, practical exposure, and training.
He appreciated the efforts of the faculty and students of IEEM, expressing confidence that the new chapter will contribute meaningfully to strengthening environmental engineering education and professional development at MUET.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Aneel Kumar, Director IEEM Dr. Korai Muhammad Safar, Director ORIC Dr. Sheeraz Memon, and the newly appointed student office-bearers of the AAEES chapter.

The Charter Inspection and Evaluation Committee (CIEC) visiting team successfully visited the Institute of Environmental Engineering & Management (IEEM), MUET, Jamshoro.

The Two-Week Short Course on Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OHSE) Management was successfully conducted by Institute of Environmental Engineering & Management in collaboration with the Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC), MUET Jamshoro.
The training provided participants with practical and industry-relevant insights into occupational health, workplace safety, behavioral safety, process safety, safety leadership, and the application of Generative AI in HSE systems. After successfully completed course, certificates were distributed to the participants in recognition of their active participation and successful completion.
Special appreciation to Engr. Aftab Ahmed Memon (Resource Person), Occupational Health, Safety & Environment Expert, for sharing his valuable expertise and practical experience with the participants.

From Pollution to Renewable Fuels: How Quantum Dots and Nanotechnology Can Solve Water and Climate Challenges
The Institute of Environmental Engineering & Management (IEEM), Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, successfully organized Lecture 01 of the Alumni Talk Series on 25 August 2026.
🎓 The lecture was delivered by Dr. Najeebullah Channa, Researcher, DISAT, Politecnico di Torino, Italy, and moderated by Dr. Muhammad Safar Korai, Director, IEEM, MUET.
The session provided final-year students with valuable insights into the emerging applications of quantum dots and nanotechnology in environmental engineering, including:
🔹 Advanced water treatment and pollution control
🔹 CO₂ conversion and solar fuels
🔹 Renewable and clean energy technologies
🔹 Climate change mitigation
🔹 Emerging research areas and career opportunities
The lecture highlighted how innovative science and nanotechnology can contribute to sustainable solutions for water, climate, and energy challenges, while inspiring students to explore new directions in environmental research and engineering.

The Institute of Environmental Engineering & Management (IEEM), Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro has been granted 3 Years Re-Accreditation by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the B.E. Environmental Engineering Program for Intake Batches 2022, 2023 & 2024.
This recognition reflects the satisfactory level of compliance, breadth and depth of the program, effective Quality Management System (QMS), Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), and implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) at IEEM.

🌱 Strengthening Waste Segregation at IEEM, MUET

The Institute of Environmental Engineering & Management (IEEM), Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, warmly welcomed the team from Pak-Atlas today.
As part of the ongoing collaboration under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IEEM, MUET and Pak-Atlas, the company generously sponsored and provided waste segregation dustbins for the Institute.
The newly installed colour-coded bins will facilitate the segregation of glass, plastic, and paper waste at source, promoting responsible waste management practices and environmental awareness among students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
This initiative reflects the shared commitment of IEEM and Pak-Atlas towards sustainable campus development, effective solid waste management, resource recovery, and a cleaner environment.
We sincerely appreciate Pak-Atlas for this valuable contribution and look forward to further strengthening our academic–industry collaboration for innovative and sustainable waste management solutions.
