The Department of Mathematics, Basic Sciences, and Humanities, in collaboration with the Department of Education, successfully hosted guest speaker sessions on "Developing Strong Proposals for Mixed Method Research." The sessions featured Associate Professor Dr. Sarala Thulasi Palpanadan, Deputy Dean of Research at the Center for Language Studies (CLS), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia.

The sessions were expertly coordinated by Dr. Ishfaque Ahmed Abbasi and Dr. Sohail Ahmed Memon, garnering exceptional feedback from participants for their insightful content and engaging delivery.

Professor Dr. Syed Mir Muhammad Shah, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Main Campus) of Sukkur IBA University, warmly welcomed the esteemed guest and expressed gratitude for her visit. As a token of appreciation, Dr. Shah presented souvenirs to the guests, marking the event as both a memorable and enriching academic experience.

The Department of Mathematics, Basic Sciences and Humanities at Sukkur IBA University conducted its 5th Board of Studies on Saturday, 26 October, 2024 at the university's main campus.

The meeting was convened by Dr. Zarqa Bano, the Head of the Department, who welcomed all board members.

Among the discussed items on the agenda were many matters of importance including updating schemes of studies for various programs in the light of HEC undergraduate and graduate policy 2023.

The meeting was attented by honorable members including Professor Dr. Sajjad Sadilo, Quest, Nawab shah, Dr. Javed Hussain Brohi, Dr. Irshad Ahmed, Dr. Haider Ali Muttaqi Shah, Dr. Zahid Shaikh, Dr. Zulfiqar Chachar, and Dr. Ishfaq Abbasi.

The meeting concluded on a very high note, setting the tone for future course of action and Development.
