The Department of Mathematics warmly congratulates Mr. Zulfiqar Ali on the successful defense of his PhD thesis, "A Novel Approach to Weather Derivatives Pricing Using the Framework of Uncertainty Theory," held on 24 August 2026. His research constitutes a significant contribution to mathematics, particularly to uncertainty theory and its innovative application to weather derivatives pricing.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Javed Hussain Brohi, Associate Professor, for his outstanding supervision and steadfast mentorship throughout Mr. Ali's doctoral journey. His guidance was instrumental in bringing this research to completion.

The Department of Mathematics, Basic Sciences & Humanities, Sukkur IBA University, congratulates Mr. Sohail Ahmed on the successful defense of his MS thesis. Mr. Ahmed presented his research on "On study of some parabolic stochastic PDEs through Deep Learning" under the supervision of Dr. Javed Hussain Brohi, Associate Professor.
The defense session was held on August 21, 2026, in Room No. 19, AB-I. The department extends its appreciation to the Thesis Review/Evaluation Committee, the Program Office, and the ICT team for their support in making the session a success.
