Government Girls Post Graduate College No. 1 Abbottabad successfully organized the Science, IT & Arts Exhibition 2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and faculty members.
The first phase of the competition was held on 13 May 2026 at departmental level, where students presented innovative projects, creative models, artwork, and IT-related ideas within their respective departments. After careful evaluation, selected participants qualified for the final round.
The final inter-departmental competition was conducted on 19 May 2026, in which 11 departments participated wholeheartedly. At the end of the event, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions in each category were awarded to outstanding participants in recognition of their excellent performance and hard work.
The exhibition provided students with a valuable platform to enhance their confidence, creativity, teamwork, and presentation skills. The Principal professor Tahira Rasheed, program organizer Professor Shabana Noreen and faculty members, and guests highly appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee and participants for making the event successful and memorable.

Kashmir Solidarity Day Function Report 🌟
The Pakistan Cultural Society of GGPGC No.1 Abbottabad organized a function to commemorate Kashmir Solidarity Day on February 5th. The event was held under the supervision of Principal Prof. Tahira Rashid, with guidance from Ms. Nabeela (In-charge of all functions) along with Prof. Shabana Noreen, Prof. Umt e Zohra, and Ms. Yasmeen Bibi (In-charge Cultural Society), and other faculty members.

Sequence of Events:
1. *Tilawat (Recitation)*: Shazina (FA Part 2, Section C) recited verses from the Holy Quran, setting a contemplative tone for the event.
2. *Naat (Praise of Prophet Muhammad)*: Alishba (FA Part 2, Section C) recited a Naat, infusing the event with a spiritual essence.
3. *Speech*: Maryam (English Department, Semester 6) delivered a compelling speech highlighting the significance of Kashmir Solidarity Day and Pakistan's unwavering support for the Kashmiri cause.
4. *Multimedia Presentation*: Omaima (Psychology Department, Semester 8) presented a multimedia show showcasing the Kashmir struggle and emphasizing the importance of solidarity with the Kashmiri people.

The Botany Department of Government Girls Postgraduate College No. 1, Abbottabad, attended a job fair event held at Abdul Wali Khan University (AWKUM), Mardan, on *18 December 2025*.
