As part of the LeaderShift Program 2026, the team from COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Vehari Campus, visited the Safe City Project, where participants gained firsthand insight into the use of advanced surveillance systems and modern technologies for enhancing public safety and managing city operations.
The team also had the privilege of attending an interactive session with SP Usman Afzaal, who shared valuable perspectives on the realities of policing, the challenges faced by law enforcement agencies, and the gap that sometimes exists between media portrayals and the dedication and sacrifices of police officers.
His inspiring discussion highlighted the importance of integrity, responsibility, commitment, and effective leadership, leaving participants with a greater appreciation for public service and a deeper understanding of their civic responsibilities.
