Today, a MEETA (Medical and Engineering Entrance Test Awareness) Seminar was conducted to enlighten students about the gateway examinations that open doors to the nation’s premier universities in medicine, engineering, and computer sciences. Our expert speakers Professor Asif Toseef and Professor Bilawal Ghafoor unpacked the calendar of upcoming tests, clearly mapping application deadlines and exam dates so that no critical milestone is missed. They then guided attendees through the tailored syllabi—biology-chemistry-physics clusters for MBBS hopefuls, mathematics-physics-chemistry sets for engineers, and emerging CS streams that now include data structures, logical reasoning, and elementary programming concepts. The session demystified test structures, contrasting the speed-based negative-marking patterns of some institutes with the section-wise adaptive formats of others, and highlighted weightage shifts such as the growing emphasis on aptitude and English proficiency in several engineering entrances. By the end of the seminar, students left equipped with a personalized timeline, curated resource lists, and a strategic blueprint for balancing board-percentage targets with rigorous entrance preparation.
