ly equipped specialized laboratories. We are the university that educates the largest number of students of nursing, as well as emergency medicine in the Pomeranian region. A key aspect in the implementation of the study program for us is practice. For this reason, all our students do their internship in one of our partner hospitals or clinics. Thanks to this approach, we are sure that graduates leaving the walls of our university will continue their careers with dignity and professionalism, and provide highly qualified assistance to others. Thanks to its activities, Powiślański University can also boast of its cooperation with numerous medical institutions, hospitals, educational institutions, foundations, clinics and specialist offices, as well as companies associated with the economic, logistics and transportation industries. Relationships with professional partners enable the University's students to carry out internships at renowned and respected institutions in the Pomeranian area, which provides valuable work experience for those about to enter the labor market. We also have at our disposal a numerous base of establishments not only throughout the country, but also abroad, which makes it possible for students to carry out the program in cooperation with foreign partners. Powislańska Szkoła Wyższa is also a holder of the Erasmus University Charter (ECHE), which entitles to use European funds under the Erasmus+ Program, including, among others: mobility of students, academic and administrative teachers. Worthy of recognition is the wide network of foreign partners, which consists of more than 150 higher education institutions in more than 50 countries. In the 2022/2023 academic year, the university is implementing 4 Erasmus+ projects for a total of 490 thousand euros.

Erasmus+ in Valencia – summary 🇪🇸

The participation of Powiślańska Academy of Applied Sciences (PAAS) in the event „Online Education, a New Window to Internationalization” at Valencia International University has come to an end.

As part of the Erasmus+ mobility, PAAS was represented by Mateusz Grądzki – Deputy Erasmus+ Programme Coordinator. It was an intensive and valuable time filled with meetings, exchange of experience, and discussions about the future of higher education and international cooperation.

A particularly important element of the visit was strengthening relationships within the Qn Alliance. The meetings and workshops created space for dialogue, networking, and building closer connections between partner institutions – a solid foundation for future collaboration.

Discussions are already ongoing about initiatives dedicated to students, which may soon develop into concrete joint projects.

We would like to thank Valencia International University for the invitation, excellent organisation, and warm welcome.

We are pleased to announce that Powiślańska Academy of Applied Sciences (PAAS) has become a member of FEDE (Federation for European Education) 🌍 – an international organization bringing together universities and educational institutions across Europe 🇪🇺.

FEDE promotes the internationalization of education, enhances educational quality, and fosters cooperation between academic institutions and the business environment. It operates as a collaborative academic network and also provides and certifies European degree programmes such as the European Bachelor, Master, and MBA 🎓.

Membership in FEDE opens up new development opportunities for PAAS, including:
– access to an international network of universities and academic partnerships 🌐
– participation in European-level events and initiatives 📚
– strengthening the university’s internationalization processes ✈️
– access to quality assurance tools such as the FEDE Quality Charter 📄
– opportunities to further develop the educational offer in an international context 📈

Joining FEDE is another step towards strengthening the position of PAAS within the European educational area and expanding international cooperation in education and research.

Dear Students,
we would like to invite you to the Zimbabwe Festival, organized as part of the “Absolutely Everybody is Invited to Powislanski University” project. 💚

The event will take place on 20.04 at 13:30 in the Aula (building B).

Since many of our students come from Zimbabwe, this is a great opportunity to experience their culture together and learn more about their traditions in a more personal and authentic way.

Programme includes:

🌍 Internationalization in action

Our Rector, prof. Katarzyna Strzała-Osuch with the Director for Strategic Affairs, Daniel Osuch, M.Sc. Eng., visited Kyrgyz State Medical Academy in Bishkek as part of activities carried out within the Erasmus+ programme.

During the visit, meetings were held with the university authorities as well as with students, creating a valuable space for exchanging experiences and building international relationships. The Rector also delivered a lecture combined with a presentation of our university, introducing the Powiślańska Academy of Applied Sciences and opportunities for future cooperation.

The visit also included a tour of the campus, providing insight into the daily functioning of the partner institution.

This is another important step in strengthening international cooperation, developing joint projects and expanding academic exchange opportunities for our students.

🌍 Erasmus+ in Valencia – Online Education, a New Window to Internationalization

Our team is participating in an Erasmus+ mobility at Valencia International University, taking part in an event focused on online education and internationalization.

During the program, participants explored topics such as:

new possibilities in online teaching,
artificial intelligence in higher education,
access to university studies in Spain,
quality assurance and accreditation,
presentation of selected study areas.

The event also included activities within the Qn Alliance, where participants discussed university collaboration, developing joint initiatives, and responding to current challenges in higher education.

Cultural experiences were part of the program too – tasting traditional tapas and exploring Valencia’s city center, including a visit to Valencia Cathedral.

💡 An event full of inspiration and international exchange of experience.

🌍 The Nigerian Culture Festival at our university has come to an end!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and explored the richness of Nigerian culture. During the event, we learned interesting facts about Nigeria, enjoyed music, saw traditional outfits, tasted authentic cuisine, and even took part in a quiz with prizes. Special thanks to our students from Nigeria for their dedication and effort in organizing the festival 💛

We are proud that our university community is so diverse and open to cultural exchange. See you at the next events!
