Mimo formalnego przejścia w stan spoczynku nasza Mater Familias donikąd się oczywiście nie wybiera: dalej będzie nas wspierać i inspirować – a my czerpać z Jej doświadczenia i wzoru.

Last week, the PhD candidates from our chair, Radosław Miśkiewicz, Wiktoria Saracyn and Kacper Żochowski presented their papers at the 17th International Congress of the Fédération Internationale des Associations d’Études Classiques this time hosted by the University of Wrocław and Societas Philologa Polonorum. During the event they had a unique opportunity to familiarise themselves with the impressive manuscript collection of the University Library in Wrocław.

Many thanks to the organisers and our colleagues who joined us at the Congress for making this whole thing happen. We’ll see each other again in just four years at the FIEC 2028 Congress!
