As a part of its efforts to encourage the exchange of experiences and best practices among faculty, the Al-Quds Bard College Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) hosted a workshop on Tuesday February 23rd on using OneNote and the digital tablet and pen in teaching and learning.
Participants included AlQuds University faculty members from the Faculties of Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacology, Science and Technology, Educational Sciences, Business Administration, and Islamic Studies.
Led by Dr. Omar Surkhi from Najad Zeini Faculty of Engineering, the workshop explored the depth and utilities of these tools and how to benefit from different methods of using them in teaching and learning. The workshop leader shared examples of class notebooks and lecture notes that he has constructed and tips on using these tools.
Participants were involved interactively in creating a OneNote notebook to organize course material and lecture notes.
The CTL continues to offer innovative and practical workshops of topics that directly benefit the efficiency of one’s methods of teaching and learning.
