DMS susţine la facultăţile din universitate- Facultatea de Construcţii Civile (FCCIA), Facultatea de Construcţii Hidrotehnice (FCH), Facultatea de Căi Ferate, Drumuri şi Poduri (CFDP), Facultatea de Inginerie a Instalaţiilor (FII), disciplinele Mecanică teoretică, Statica construcţiilor, Dinamica şi elemente de Inginerie seismică, Istoria tehnicii constructiilor- la ciclul I licenţa (4 ani), precum şi o gamă largă de discipline, la ciclul al II-lea- Master (2 ani) precum Stabilitate şi dinamica structurală, Complemente de Dinamica structurilor, Inginerie seismică, Investigarea instrumentală a vibraţiilor construcţiilor, Proiectarea seismică a clădirilor, Calculul neliniar al structurilor, Proiectare asistată de calculator.
În plus, DMS susţine la Facultatea de Inginerie în Limbi Străine (FILS) din UTCB, disciplinele Mechanics, Structural Analysis, Dynamics of Structures and Earthquake Engineering, Stability of Structures and Structural Dynamics (predare în limba engleză), Mecanique, Analyse de structures, Dynamique de structures et Genie sismique, La Methode des Elements Finiş, Sismologie et Genie sismique, Stabilite et Dynamique de structures (predare în limba franceză).
În cadrul DMS funcţionează Centrul Naţional de Cercetare în Inginerie Seismică şi Vibraţii (CNISV).

DMS delivers to the faculties from UTCB- Faculty of Civil Engineering (FCCIA), Faculty of Hidrotechnics (FCH), Faculty of Railways, Roads and Bridges (CFDP), courses on Theoretical Mechanics, Structural analysis, Dynamics of structures and Earthquake engineering, History of constructions – at the undergraduate level, as well as a broad range of courses for the Master degree students i.e. Advances on Dynamics of structures, Earthquake engineering, Stability of structures and nonlinear analysis, Experimental investigation of structural motion, Seismic design of buildings, Computer- assisted design. Additionally DMS is international cooperation- opened by delivering courses at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Foreign Languages (FILS) at UTCB, in the same thematic area. The National Center for Earthquake Engineering and Vibrations (CNISV) is a part of DMS.
