Honoring the Memory of Dr. Dilika

A Bana preaching and almsgiving will be held on September 19th and 20th at his residence in Polonnaruwa.

Happy 90th anniversary to our beloved KSMU!🎓🩺

This year Kursk State Medical university proudly commemorates its 90th anniversary with a vibrant International Cultural festival.

The event was held on two days. On the 8th of February under the organization of the University administration, a Cultural Festival was held at the University with the participation of Prof. V. A. Lazarenko the Rector of KSMU and University Officials. It was a very colorful evening filled with various cultures on display.
On the 10th of the February, the University held the 90th anniversary celebration of KSMU event at the Kursk State Drama Theatre.The event was attended by many high profile individuals including Hon. M. A. Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Mr. A. Chepik, Acting First Deputy Governor – Chairman of the Government of the Kursk region, and other officials. It was also attended by Group Captain Sanoj Jayaratne the Counselor of defense from the Sri Lankan Embassy in Russia.

During these events, our Students Union showcased our very rich and diverse history, culture and beauty of Sri Lanka through various exhibits. The officials and the locals especially admired our beautiful country and the great diversity that it possesses from rich cultures, to breathtaking sceneries and even the Sri Lankan cuisine. Our Sri Lankan students also showcased their talents in both dance and song much to the enjoyment of the attendees.

As the Sri Lankan Students Union of KSMU we look forward to fly our Nations color's high with pride in future events as this! 🇱🇰

"Winter may be here, but the futsal action is heating up! ❄️⚽️

The annual Kursk Inter Sri Lankan Futsal league took place at KSMU which was played by the three teams: Aaryans,Black Panthers and Immortals.

Congratulations to the Black Panthers for their stunning victory in the inter-Sri Lankan tournament against the Aaryans and Immortals! Aaryans are the proud runners-up of this year's tournament. It was an exhilarating display of talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship by all teams. We look forward to the upcoming sports events and further displays of skill of our brothers and sisters.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I have been working as the president of the Sri Lankan student's union for more than a year now, and I think it is the right time to give this opportunity to a new leadership. It was a great pleasure to work with the 2023-2024 executive committee throughout the past year. and I am grateful for the great support and collaboration we have shared.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Dilika Chamodya, a cherished member of our Kursk State Medical University family. As a past pupil, he not only excelled in his studies but also inspired many with his dedication and compassion.

During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Dr. Dilika Chamodya will always be remembered for his contributions to our community and the positive impact he made on those around him.

The Student Union stands in solidarity as we honor his memory.
