The Sudanese Engineering Society is a scientific association established in the year 1936 to develop and advance the engineering profession, as well as the technical performance of engineers. الجمعية الهندسية السودانية جمعية علمية مهنية تأسست عام 1936 ، تعمل على تنمية وتطوير مهنة الهندسة والإرتقاء بالأداء الفني ورفع المستوى المهني للمهندسين . وتضم الجمعية في عضويتها كل المهندسين السودانيين بتخصصات
هم المختلفة . ظلت الجمعية تمارس مهامها المهنية بكل الدقة والمعرفة مما اكسبها وضعا مميزا في الداخل والخارج. تتطلب عضوية الجمعية درجة عالية من المعرفة لإتخاذ القرار السليم.
عضوية الجمعية اساس الاداء الجيد وتؤهل حاملها لممارسة مهنة الهندسة فى السودان وفى خارجه. The university provides much of its requirements, such as printing, publishing and scientific support. The first constitution of the society was sanctioned in 1970 where its functions and objectives were defined as follows:
A.Working towards the advancement and exchange of knowledge, experience and cognizance of the engineering science and profession, as well as those occupations with pertinent relations with engineering in Sudan. B.Working towards the realization of those professional advantages and privileges inside and outside the country, that are deserved, inherited and or originate from membership in the society.
