The REXUS/BEXUS programme is realised under a bilateral Agency Agreement between the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the Swedish National Space Agency (SNSA). The Swedish share of the payload has been made available to students from other European countries through a collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA). EuroLaunch, a cooperation between the Esrange Space Center of SSC and the Mobi

le Rocket Base (MORABA) of DLR, is responsible for the campaign management and operations of the launch vehicles. Experts from DLR, SSC, ZARM and ESA provide technical support to the student teams throughout the project. REXUS and BEXUS are launched from SSC, Esrange Space Center in northern Sweden.

University student teams can apply to fly their experiment on a sounding rocket or stratospheric balloon launched from Esrange Space Center in Sweden. Applications are open for the 18th Cycle.

🚀 Student experiments launched on REXUS sounding rockets ✨

🎓 Last March, eight university teams from across Europe gathered at Esrange Space Center, Sweden, to launch their innovative experiments aboard REXUS 35 and 36 as part of the REXUS/BEXUS (Rocket/Balloon Experiments for University Students) programme.

From experiment design to integration and launch verification, students experienced first‑hand how real space missions are developed, gaining technical, teamwork and problem‑solving skills that prepare them for careers in the space sector. 👩‍💻🪛
