e2i's Career Conversion Programmes (CCPs), previously known as Place-and-Train Programmes or Professional Conversion Programmes, are conversion programmes targeted at mid-career switchers, to undergo skills conversion and move into new occupations or sectors that have good prospects and opportunities for progression. Trainees will undergo structured training to transit into the new job role.

Coca-Cola Singapore Beverages (CCSB) embarked on several projects such as the WorkPro Job Redesign, Inclusive Growth Programme, and Professional Development Programme with NTUC’s Employment and Employability Institute (e2i). The company re-engineered its model, increasing work efficiency, and creating higher-value jobs to benefit its workforce of over 200 local employees.

With e2i’s support, CCSB conceptualised the CCSB Worker 4.0 programme and identified Adaptive, Technical and Technological skills that its workers needed to acquire during the company’s technological transformation.

Kings Cart Coffee works with Employment & Employability Institute, e2i on several manpower initiatives and one of the more significant initiatives would be the ‘Career Conversion Programme’. This programme provides Kings Cart Coffee with greater flexibility in hiring people from different industries and supports them in providing structured training to their new hires, so as for the new hires to better adapt to their new roles.

With e2i’s support, key members of the team also enrolled and graduated from the Certified F&B Mystery Judge programme, allowing them to gain insights into consumers’ wants and preferences and how to provide excellent service.

The overarching principle is to uplift the standards of local workers and partners in the F&B industry, and e2i is glad to support companies in their manpower solutions and upskilling needs.

Baker 4.0 is an initiative by NTUC’s Employment & Employability Institute, e2i with the objective to transform Singapore's bakers and baking professionals through upgrading their skills and knowledge, so as to keep pace with the impending major changes in their work environment.

To operationalise this, e2i worked with several key partners on customised training plans and initiatives to provide upskilling options for professionals in Singapore’s baking industry. As a champion for workers, e2i encourages more companies to come on board Baker 4.0 so that our workers can progress with clear career pathways and competitive wages.
