Zin Research Group This page belongs to Dr. Melvin Zin's Research Group at the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Nanyang Technological University.

Dr. Zin’s research interests are in the development of functional materials and ways of processing these well-designed materials to create unique constructions (either in the form of multilayer coatings and films or devices) for innovative applications. As a result, his work is highly interdisciplinary. Discoveries and inventions, consequently, take place at the intersection of materials science,

precision engineering, and system integration. His research approach consists of 3 key areas: materials development, processing and fabrication, and application innovation.
