MSc TIP

Designed for the 21st Century Global Entrepreneur The MSc TIP is a one-year full-time programme (English / Chinese).

The MSc TIP focuses on educating and nurturing leaders for the entrepreneurship ecosystem, through academic knowledge acquisition, entrepreneurial mindset cultivation, and business skillset development. It empowers participants to be competent in leveraging technology advancements to create social and economic value for the society. Emphasising experiential learning, MSc TIP integrates the knowled

ge of emerging technologies and innovative business models and practices into its curriculum. The course covers the strategic and operational issues of entrepreneurial ventures at their different growth stages. Participants have opportunities to engage with various stakeholders in the entrepreneurship ecosystem throughout the programme. Many graduates have benefitted from the programme and transformed their entrepreneurial ideas into successful ventures. The part-time study mode is available through the MiniMasters™ in Technopreneurship & Innovation. Upon meeting the admission criteria of the Master of Science Technopreneurship & Innovation Programme, participants can transfer up to 15 AUs of the credits earned from the MiniMasters™ to fulfill part of the Master’s degree requirements. Dr. Xia Zhiqiang, Programme Director for MSc Technopreneurship & Innovation Programme (MSc TIP) at Nanyang Technopreneurship Center, shared insights about innovation and entrepreneurship with the audience at the China Education Expo 2021, Beijing, during the webinar sharing session on 24 October 2021.

Being a technopreneur not only seeks opportunities, takes risks, and has an adventurous mindset but also exposes themselves to emerging technologies and makes use of these technologies to identify economic values and turn ideas into actions.

The best way to obtain such knowledge is to hear from the industry. This month, we are pleased to have invited Mr Albert Ching (Founder, Vice Chairman & CTO, i-Sprint Innovations Pte Ltd), Ms Kwek Hong Sin (Global Relationship Officer for ASEAN CIO Association, CEO & Founder of Ssinwattana Crowdfunding Corporation Ltd) and Mr Ng Hoo Ming (Chairman, ASEAN Network Security Action Council, Deputy Chief Executive, National Cyber Resilience, CSA) to share their insights on entrepreneurial opportunities in cybersecurity.
