Our dedicated nursing students took a significant step towards enhancing healthcare services for internally displaced persons (IDPs) by handing over essential medical supplies to the cholera treatment center at Bosaso IDP camps.
The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, speaking at the event, praised the students for their initiative and reaffirmed the faculty's commitment to supporting public health efforts.
Cholera remains a major health challenge in areas with limited access to clean water and sanitation facilities. Our students' initiative not only addresses immediate medical needs but also underscores the importance of community involvement and proactive healthcare measures in crisis settings.
We are incredibly proud of our students for their commitment to public health and their empathy towards those affected by displacement and disease. Their efforts exemplify the core values of our institution – compassion, service, and excellence in healthcare.
We hope this initiative will inspire others to contribute to humanitarian efforts and make a positive impact on communities in need.
