OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

REGISTRATION FOR PUBLIC SPEAKING AND AI TRAINING.

The leadership of Aweil Students' Association at the University of Juba is pleased to inform the General Assembly about the registration for Public Speaking and AI Training sponsored by Akol Podcast Ngawal Group for Computing Ltd.

The leadership sincerely appreciates Akol Podcast and Ngawal Group for Computing Ltd. for their continued support in building the capacity of our fellow students at the University of Juba and for their commitment in trying to eradicate illiteracy in its all forms.

The registration for this training remains under the responsibility of the Secretary for Academic Affairs and the interested individuals are asked to register with him as early possible since we have limited number of vacancies available( Only 10 students are sponsored).
The corporate sponsors ask that the selection be done based on the diversity, which ensures that two beneficiaries must come from each county of NBGs.

Training Details
The programme will focus on improving the following;
1. Public Speaking
2. Artificial intelligence Media for Academic Work.
The former and latter are going to be delivered and facilitated by Akol Podcast and Ngawal Group for Computing Ltd, respectively.
Deadline: Friday,31/07/2026
Number of participants required: 10 students( two students from each county).
Duration: Two (2) weeks.

The interested individuals should apply,get registered and their names be submitted the corporate sponsors for timely starting and ending of the training.
Note: Those who benefited from the previous sponsorships shouldn't apply for this training.

On behalf of the Aweil Students' Association in the University of Juba, we send you warm greetings and our heartfelt best wishes as you prepare to commence your examinations tomorrow, 28th July 2026.

Today marks the fruit of months of hard work, late-night reading, sacrifices, and determination. We recognize the challenges you have overcome to reach this stage, and we are proud of the discipline and resilience you have shown as Aweil sons and daughters.

We pray that the Almighty grants you clear minds, good health, and success in every paper. May you excel and make our community proud.

Today, the Aweil Students' Association in the University of Juba paid courtesy visited to the former governor Hon Tong Akeen Ngor at his house to present the warmest greetings and deepest appreciation to him.

The leadership led by generous Mr. Chairman Door Bul Athian, with his executives today, visited the house of former governor Hon Tong Akeen Ngor to present appreciation to him for his remarkable things he lavish on us

The body explained the situation how they Students within the hostels are facing crisis which including feeding, renting, and renovation, which is going on at jabarona hostel.

On his replies, the former governor Hon Tong Akeen Ngor appricate our leadership for reaching him at his house for acknowledging even though he's not working.

On the other hand, Hon. Akeen advised students to distance themselves from politics and media assultation over they politicians and elders.

Ngor added that the students will not be supported due to theirs brothers and sisters who misused the platform as the houses of racism and criticism on theirs elders, politicians, and intellectuals.

Machar put his words by saying that working hard is the part of achievement and nothing can be archived from laziness until you open your eyes wider so that you can stop laziness and you should have to read hard to finished your school sincerely.

At the end, machar support Aweil Students' association in the university of juba within the hostels by providing them the foods to the students who are going for the exams complete their studies savely, he provided bean, rice
And jarcan of cooking oil.

On behalf of the Aweil Students' Association University of Juba, I am pleased to inform you that we will have an opening football match on 10th July 2026, in the morning at Buluk Playground before final between Aweil East and Aweil West.

According to the Secretary for Culture and Sports, Mr. Deng Lual Angok, all Aweil students at the University of Juba, both players and fans residing in hostels and offcampus are invited to come together on that day to support and play as Aweil students ahead of the Aweil Peace Tournament final between Aweil East and Aweil West.

Mr. Angok further confirmed that our opponent will be the Aweil Students from the University of Upper Nile. He added that this match is organized to promote peace, love, and unity among Aweil students at different universities, and to foster togetherness.

Our Motto: Togetherness will brighten our future.

SUBJECT: APPLICATION FOR COMPUTER TRAINING

The leadership of our esteemed Association at the University of Juba, led by the humble Chairperson, Mr. Door Bul Athian, wishes to inform all students from the University of Juba, particularly those who hail from Aweil, have an opportunity for computer training. This program has been sponsored by the Aweil Students Association (ASA-UoJ) leadership for the 2025–2026 academic year.

The criteria and requirements for applicants are listed below:

Eligibility Requirements:
1. Must be a currently enrolled student at the University of Juba only.
2. Must be an indigene of Aweil only.
3. Must possess a valid University of Juba student ID card or a form for academic year 2026-2027 and below.
4. All the above mentioned requirements must be available.
Note:
Applications should be submitted to the Secretary for Academic Affairs, who is the designated officer in charge.

On behalf of Aweil student association in university of juba lead by Door Bul Athian is here to condemn for what mabior Riiny lual publized recently.

Our office discard upon the recent message posted by Mabior Riiny lual regarding on the behalf of Aweil student association in university of Juba isn't true because our body was not block or to calls him to reach H.E Hussian Abdelbagi Ayii.

Second to it during our last meeting with H.E Hussian Abdelbagi Ayii before his trip to Bhar El ghazal region for his visiting was successful held and he told us that he's going to fulfill his pledge after his return back from his visiting.

Therefore, we are not aware about what's circulating on the media exposed H.E Hussian Abdelbagi Ayii his promises especially for students bodies.

On behalf of Aweil student association in university of juba today, we want to tell any student who involve himself/herself into politics over his/ her academic journey please let's distance ourselves from politics because it's danger to our students who are in needs for any assistance form our community leaders, politicians and ourselves

Respect and love are more variable speed to earn our support from our leaders and let's distance ourselves from politics please.

Today, the Aweil Students' Association in University of Juba, led by competent Chairman Mr. Door Bul Athian and his executives together with the former chairman Mr Diing Ngong Riak paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Matawakil Mabruok, the founder of MM Foundation.

During the visit, the Association together with the former chairman Mr Diing Ngong Riak presented an appreciation letter to Mr. Matawakil in recognition of his continued support and contributions toward students' welfare.

The Aweil students' association in university of juba together with Mr Diing Ngong Riak the former chairman today met with Mr mabruok to address the challenges facing Aweil students in different hostels.

Mr Mabruok is a kind of the person who always stand firm with his people even though he's in a citric or bitter bold condition, he stood with the former chairman Mr Diing Ngong Riak during his leadership which he brought unwavering support to the student for their welfare.

In response, Mr. Matawakil Mabruok warmly received the delegation together with the former chairman Mr Diing Ngong Riak.

He was please for recognising as a son of mading Aweil once. He pledged his unwavering support to the Aweil Students' Association in University of Juba, reaffirming his commitment to stand with the students in their academic and development endeavors.

Mabruok added that, we, Mading Aweil sons and daughters are left behind in terms of education not because we are lazy or underated but lack of support to each other.

He added that, the world of nowadays, people are competing through education not by guns so warn all students not to involve in politics over study. He urge children of Mading Aweil to have an ethics of education so that we can compete too.

In his conclusion, he said that lack of cooperation among the executives and chairman can harm the students and failure always counted for all of you who failed to achieve something so let cooperation, love, peace be among you.

Therefore we Aweil students' association in university of juba extends our sincere gratitude to Mr. Matawakil for his generosity, encouragement, and dedication to empowering the youth and the students of Aweil.
