Welcome all BISers to our last fall session! 🗓️

In this lively session, we began with a stock pitch from our very own BIS members! Our members were signed up into 2 groups, each pitching their own stocks. 📈👏🏻

First team pitched Roblox as a lasting stock option, presenting the advantages of the game platform with its high number of daily players, as well as Gen Alpha’s population loyalty to the platform. 👥👾

The second team choose the stock “AbbVie” for their pitching, because of their strong cash flow, and the way they successfully transitioned risk with Skyrizi and Rinvoq, which together are expected to exceed Humira’s peak sales. 🩺🏥

One of our presidents, P’Pleum then revealed our Stock Market Simulator results! One representative from each Baan went up to explain what they have done within their Baan to be placed where they are in the rankings. 🥇🥈🥉🎤

Last thing we did was take group pictures of all our members together! What a great way to end our sessions this semester.

On November 3rd, 2025, the BBA Investment Society had the opportunity of hosting K’ Toh from Billionaire VI and P' Tina Longtunman for an inspiring session titled "Work-Life-Invest Balance: Decode the Investment Mindset of Billionaire VI for a Growing Portfolio and a Stress-Free Life."

Throughout the talk, K. Toh shared his remarkable investment journey, including the turning point when he discovered the Value Investment (VI) approach through ดร. นิเวศน์, and how he took his first steps in applying these principles to his own portfolio.

💡 3 Foundation of Foundation of Work-Life-Invest Balance shared by K’Toh:
1. Master Time Management: Organize your schedule to make room for work, personal life, and investment research without feeling overwhelmed

2. Follow Your Passion: Identify your genuine interests to help you be more selective about which news and assets (including stocks) deserve your attention.

3. Use AI Wisely: Leverage technology to summarize information efficiently, but, in the end, use your judgement and experience to help you identify the most important details and refine your investment approach.

Lastly, K’ Toh shared what he believes distinguishes between successful and mediocre investors – Discipline and Knowledge.

⭐️ K. Toh emphasized that successful investing is 30% Knowledge and 70% Discipline.

While understanding your investments is important, the real challenge is staying committed to your strategy when everyone else is chasing the latest trend. As he said “don’t cut flowers to water weeds” (ตัดดอกไปซื้อวัชพืช)

It is truly our honor to have remarkable guest speakers K’ Toh and P’ Tina, BISers will apply the lessons learned to create wealth which, we believe, means Work-Life-Invest-Balance.

It may have already been a week since our last session, but the markets never rest and neither do we! 💼💸

This week we kicked off with a Market Update, covering Thailand’s new tourism stimulus package 🇹🇭, the U.S. and Thailand trade deal, and the nation’s period of mourning for Queen Mother Sirikit. Meanwhile, U.S. stocks hit record highs 📈 as inflation eased and optimism spread beyond tech into industries like Ford, Caterpillar, and IBM.

Our lecture then dove into Portfolio Management, exploring how to set investment goals, assess risk tolerance, and build the perfect portfolio; from passive to active to core-satellite styles 🎯.

Ending our session with a fun and joyful game of Guess The Imposter!🫵🏼👥

In this week’s lecture, we explored how currencies around the world are losing value and how inflation quietly eats away at our wealth. 💸So, how do we protect it? Bitcoin might just be the solution! Scarce, durable, and decentralized. 🌍

We learned about the history of money, from gold to fiat to digital, and why Bitcoin may be the next wave of capital evolution. From comparing global assets to seeing how Bitcoin has outperformed nearly every class, the numbers spoke for themselves! 📈

Welcome back BISers! ♥️
We know you must have all been studying for midterms, but let’s get back into investing! 💸

Starting again with our Market Updates! We talked about Thailand’s New Prime Minister Anutin, and his urgent policies regarding Casinos and Long-Term Foreign-Currency Issuer Default Rating. Including Global Markets, The US’s job report was discussed as well as the US stocks rallied and the rising expectations on lowering the future interest rates! 📈🚨

On to our lecture from our own Educators, we learned about The 3 misconceptions about stock evaluations together with their pros and cons. An introduction to Technical Analysis was also mentioned. 📌📑

Last but not least, our sharing session! Key lessons were taken from The University of Berkshire Hathaway, although not a real University but very knowledgeable for us! The first and most applicable thing we learned is “The best investment is investing in yourself”, and “To become a good investor, it takes as much time as becoming a doctor” so never give up. Good things take time! And many more!

A beneficial lecture about Ai and the Ai supply chain was presented after. explored AI-related stocks across the entire supply chain, from upstream to downstream, highlighting the unique appeal and opportunities of each. Ending the lecture with a discussion focused on whether AI could eventually become a bubble like the DotCom era! 📉

A bonding activity game evening was prepared by our PR Team members. All BISers were sat with their Baan Teams to answer not only questions about investing but fun questions as well!! 🏅🎯
