🚨 Scam Alert from Chulalongkorn University! Don't Fall Victim to Fraudsters.
Scammers today use increasingly sophisticated tactics, taking advantage of fear, anxiety, or people's dreams and aspirations to deceive them. Common scams include:
📞 Impersonating government officials
🎓 Offering fake scholarships or overseas exchange programs
📹 Tricking victims into turning on their camera or recording videos for blackmail
💻 Claiming to possess confidential information or private photos and demanding money
Protect Yourself:
❌ Government officials will never ask you to transfer money over the phone.
❌ They will never freeze or seize your bank account through a phone call.
❌ Never rush into transferring money, sharing personal information, or making decisions under pressure.
