🇹🇭🇰🇷 Welcome to SBAC! | SBAC × KMCU ASEAN TVET Student Exchange Program 2026

Siam Business Administration Technological College (SBAC) is delighted to welcome the 2nd batch of students from Keimyung College University (KMCU), Daegu, Republic of Korea, to join the SBAC × KMCU ASEAN TVET Student Exchange Program 2026.

The KMCU students will spend one semester at SBAC from 31 August – 28 December 2026, studying in the Tourism & Hospitality Program and experiencing academic learning, practical training, and Thai culture.

During the welcome and orientation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Issariya Woraphiphat, Director of SBAC, warmly welcomed the exchange students, while Dr. Minkyung Kim, Dean of the International Affairs Office, Keimyung College University, extended a warm greeting and best wishes for their exchange journey.

🌏 International-Standard Education Through Hands-On Learning

At SBAC, KMCU students will experience an international-standard learning environment through hands-on learning, joining regular classes alongside SBAC students in the Tourism & Hospitality Program. Through practical classes, workshops, and real-world learning activities, students will learn by doing while working closely with their Thai classmates through the SBAC Buddy Program. This provides opportunities for students to exchange knowledge and cultures, practice language skills, support one another, and experience learning beyond the classroom — turning everyday classroom experiences into meaningful international connections. 💙

We hope all KMCU students enjoy their academic and cultural journey at SBAC, gain valuable hands-on experience, make lifelong friendships, and create wonderful memories throughout their time in Thailand!

นักศึกษา KMCU จะเข้าร่วมโครงการและศึกษา ณ SBAC เป็นเวลา 1 ภาคการศึกษา ระหว่างวันที่ 31 สิงหาคม – 28 ธันวาคม 2569 ในสาขา Tourism & Hospitality เปิดประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้ทั้งด้านวิชาการ การฝึกปฏิบัติ และการแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรม ณ ประเทศไทย

ที่ SBAC นักศึกษา KMCU จะได้สัมผัส การเรียนรู้ในสภาพแวดล้อมที่มุ่งสู่มาตรฐานสากล ผ่านการเรียนรู้แบบ Hands-on Learning โดยเข้าร่วมเรียนในชั้นเรียนจริงร่วมกับนักศึกษา SBAC ในสาขา Tourism & Hospitality พร้อมเรียนรู้ผ่านกิจกรรมภาคปฏิบัติ Workshop และประสบการณ์ที่เชื่อมโยงกับการทำงานจริง

นอกจากนี้ นักศึกษายังได้เรียนรู้และทำกิจกรรมร่วมกับเพื่อนนักศึกษาไทยผ่าน SBAC Buddy Program โดยจับคู่กับนักศึกษา SBAC สาขา Tourism & Hospitality เพื่อเรียนรู้ ทำกิจกรรม และแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ร่วมกัน ทั้งการฝึกภาษา การแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรม การทำงานเป็นทีม และการเรียนรู้จากสถานการณ์จริง

การเรียนร่วมกันในห้องเรียนและการทำกิจกรรมผ่าน Buddy Program ช่วยให้นักศึกษาทั้งสองประเทศได้ Learn by Doing อย่างแท้จริง พร้อมพัฒนาทักษะการสื่อสาร การทำงานร่วมกับผู้อื่น และความเข้าใจในความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งเป็นส่วนสำคัญของการเตรียมความพร้อมสู่โลกการทำงานในระดับสากล 💙

From 18–20 August 2026, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Jakarta, hosted Gateway to Global Education Opportunities 2026 at The Westin Jakarta, Indonesia, connecting leading Thai educational institutions with students and educational institutions in Indonesia while creating opportunities for international education collaboration.

The opening ceremony was honored by H.E. Mr. Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Indonesia, together with Mrs. Hataichanok Sivara, Director of the Thai Trade Center, Jakarta, and Mrs. Nassaree Pathan, Deputy Director of the Thai Trade Center, Jakarta.

On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Issariya Woraphiphat, Director of Siam Business Administration Technological College (SBAC), together with representatives from 15 leading Thai educational institutions, participated in the Business Matching and Study in Thailand Expo – Indonesia 2026.

SBAC proudly showcased its Bilingual Program at the Diploma level in Tourism & Hospitality, covering Tourism, Hotel Management, and Food & Nutrition. The program provides international students with opportunities to learn through hands-on experience in modern laboratories and practical learning facilities, while developing skills aligned with the international hospitality industry.

Higher Vocational Certificate Year 1 students from the Tourism Program took part in a field trip to explore a historical tourism route in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, as part of their preparation for obtaining a Tour Guide License. 🗺️🎤

The Parent Meeting for Vocational Certificate (ปวช.1 and ปวช.3) students was filled with warmth and meaningful moments.

Beyond discussing and following up on students’ academic progress, it was also a valuable opportunity for everyone to encourage, appreciate, and share positive energy with our students, giving them the motivation they need to continue learning and move forward with confidence.

Because supporting students and helping them grow into their best selves is not the responsibility of just one person. It takes cooperation, understanding, and encouragement from both their families and the college. 🤍🤍
