On 14 August 2026, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna organized an Open House 2026 event, giving high school students the opportunity to visit the university and learn more about its various programs up close.

As part of this event, the English for International Communication program (EIC) organized the EIC Open House to welcome students who are interested in English and international communication. During the event, students had opportunity to learn more about the program, teaching and learning medthods, and opportunities to develop their English skills for their future studies and careers.

In addition, there were many fun activities for students to participate in, along with a chance to win the prizes, creating an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone who attended.

EIC is not just about learning a language, we also provides opportunities for students to discover their potential and take their first steps toward becoming confident communicators in an international world.

ในวันที่ 14 สิงหาคม 2569 มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลล้านนา จัดกิจกรรม Open House 2026 เปิดโอกาสให้น้อง ๆ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมปลาย ได้เข้ามาเยี่ยมชมมหาวิทยาลัยและทำความรู้จักกับหลักสูตรต่างๆอย่างใกล้ชิด

ในโอกาสนี้ หลักสูตร English for International Communication program (EIC) ได้จัดกิจกรรม EIC Open House เพื่อต้อนรับนักเรียนที่สนใจในด้านภาษาอังกฤษและการสื่อสารระหว่างประเทศ โดยน้อง ๆ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษษปีที่ 6 จะได้พบกับข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับหลักสูตร การเรียนการสอน และโอกาสในการพัฒนาทักษะภาษาอังกฤษที่สามารถนำไปต่อยอดได้ในอนาคตได้ ผ่านกิจกรรมในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ

นอกจากนี้ยังมีกิจกรรมสนุก ๆ มากมายให้ร่วมเล่น พร้อมลุ้นรับของรางวัลพิเศษและสร้างบรรยากาศความสนุกและประทับใจให้กับน้อง ๆ ที่เข้าร่วมงาน

สาขาภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารสากลไม่ได้มีเพียงแค่การเรียนภาษา แต่ยังเปิดโอกาสให้น้อง ๆ ได้ค้นพบศักยภาพของตัวเอง และพร้อมก้าวเข้าสู่โลกแห่งการสื่อสารในระดับสากล

On 5 August 2026, the English for International Communication (EIC) program, Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), organized the Lanna Cultural Interpreting Workshop to promote intercultural communication and professional interpreting skills while preserving and sharing Lanna cultural heritage with the world.

The workshop provided hands-on activities that enabled participants to practice interpreting strategies, communicate cultural meanings effectively, and gain a deeper understanding of Lanna traditions and local wisdom. The program also emphasized the important role of cultural interpreters in connecting people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

The workshop featured Asst. Prof. Nisara Wangratanasopon, Department of English, Faculty of Humanities, Chiang Mai University, as the guest speaker. She shared professional interpreting techniques and practical experiences that strengthened participants’ communication skills and intercultural awareness.

The workshop reflects the EIC program’s commitment to experiential learning by preparing students to become confident communicators who can effectively promote Lanna culture in international contexts.

เมื่อวันที่ 5 สิงหาคม 2569 หลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารสากล (English for International Communication) คณะบริหารธุรกิจและศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลล้านนา จัดกิจกรรม Lanna Cultural Interpreting Workshop เพื่อส่งเสริมทักษะการสื่อสารระหว่างวัฒนธรรมและวิชาชีพล่าม อนุรักษ์และเผยแพร่ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นล้านนาสู่สากล พร้อมพัฒนาศักยภาพผู้เรียนให้สามารถสื่อสารได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพในสังคมพหุวัฒนธรรม

กิจกรรมครั้งนี้มุ่งเน้นการเรียนรู้บทบาทของการล่ามวัฒนธรรมในการถ่ายทอดคุณค่าและอัตลักษณ์ของวัฒนธรรมล้านนา ผ่านกิจกรรมเชิงปฏิบัติการที่เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้ฝึกฝนกลยุทธ์การล่าม การสื่อสารความหมายทางวัฒนธรรมอย่างถูกต้อง และเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจในประเพณี ศิลปะ และภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นล้านนา ตลอดจนตระหนักถึงบทบาทสำคัญของล่ามวัฒนธรรมในการเชื่อมโยงความเข้าใจระหว่างชุมชนท้องถิ่นกับผู้คนจากนานาประเทศ

การอบรมได้รับเกียรติจาก ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ นิศรา วังรัตนโสภณ อาจารย์ประจำภาควิชาภาษาอังกฤษ คณะมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ เป็นวิทยากรรับเชิญ ถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ เทคนิคการล่ามเชิงวิชาชีพ และประสบการณ์จริงด้านการล่ามวัฒนธรรม เพื่อส่งเสริมให้ผู้เข้าร่วมพัฒนาทักษะการสื่อสาร ความตระหนักรู้ทางวัฒนธรรม และความพร้อมในการทำงานในบริบทนานาชาติ

กิจกรรมครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญของหลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารสากลในการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ผ่านประสบการณ์จริง โดยเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้พัฒนาทักษะการล่ามควบคู่กับความเข้าใจในมิติทางวัฒนธรรม อันจะนำไปสู่การเป็นผู้สื่อสารที่สามารถถ่ายทอดอัตลักษณ์และคุณค่าของวัฒนธรรมล้านนาสู่สังคมโลกได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและภาคภูมิใจ

"Strengthening Global Perspectives: English for International Communication Advances Intercultural Conflict Management.”

On 3 August 2026, the English for International Communication program organized Unit 7 of Cross-Cultural Communication under the support of the Erasia Foundation, featuring the topic Intercultural Conflict Management. The activity reflected the program’s commitment to equipping students with essential intercultural communication competencies for today’s diverse and globally connected society.

The session highlighted the significance of Intercultural Conflict Management as a vital skill for navigating cultural differences and resolving misunderstandings in international contexts. Students explored practical approaches to managing intercultural conflicts through empathy, cultural awareness, effective communication, and collaborative problem-solving.

The lecture was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattiya Bunwirat, who shared valuable insights and real-world perspectives, enabling participants to deepen their understanding of intercultural challenges while strengthening their critical thinking, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Through this learning experience, the program continues to prepare graduates for the challenges of the twenty-first century by fostering intercultural competence, global citizenship, and professional communication skills. By empowering students to transform cultural differences into opportunities for cooperation and mutual understanding, the program develops future professionals who are ready to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.

“เสริมสร้างมุมมองสู่สากล: หลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารสากล พัฒนาทักษะการจัดการความขัดแย้งระหว่างวัฒนธรรม”

เมื่อวันที่ 3 สิงหาคม 2569 หลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารสากล ได้จัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ Unit 7: Cross-Cultural Communication ภายใต้การสนับสนุนจาก Erasia Foundation ในหัวข้อ การจัดการความขัดแย้งระหว่างวัฒนธรรม (Intercultural Conflict Management) เพื่อสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นในการพัฒนาผู้เรียนให้มีสมรรถนะด้านการสื่อสารระหว่างวัฒนธรรม พร้อมรับมือกับสังคมโลกที่มีความหลากหลายและเชื่อมโยงถึงกันมากยิ่งขึ้น

"Breaking Cultural Barriers: English for International Communication Empowers Global Cross-Cultural Communication and Meaning Negotiation."

On 27 July 2026, the English for International Communication program organized a learning activity on Cross-Cultural Communication and Meaning Negotiation, reaffirming its commitment to developing globally competent graduates equipped for effective communication in today's multicultural and interconnected world.

The activity highlighted the importance of Cross-Cultural Communication and Meaning Negotiation as fundamental competencies for successful interaction across cultures. Moving beyond language proficiency, students explored how to interpret cultural perspectives, adapt communication strategies, and build shared understanding with people from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Through authentic learning experiences and interactive discussions, participants strengthened their critical thinking, intercultural awareness, and professional communication skills essential for international academic, professional, and social contexts.

Designed to prepare graduates for the challenges of the twenty-first century, the program continues to empower students to foster collaboration across cultures, bridge differences through meaningful dialogue, and transform cultural diversity into a driving force for global communication, innovation, and sustainable development. "ก้าวข้ามพรมแดนภาษา สู่การสื่อสารระดับโลก: หลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารสากลยกระดับทักษะการสื่อสารข้ามวัฒนธรรม"

เมื่อวันที่ 27 กรกฎาคม 2569 หลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารสากล ได้จัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ในหัวข้อ การสื่อสารข้ามวัฒนธรรม (Cross-Cultural Communication) และ การต่อรองความหมาย (Meaning Negotiation) เพื่อสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นในการพัฒนาบัณฑิตให้มีสมรรถนะระดับสากล พร้อมทักษะการสื่อสารที่มีประสิทธิภาพในโลกปัจจุบันซึ่งเต็มไปด้วยความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรมและการเชื่อมโยงระหว่างผู้คนทั่วโลก

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวมุ่งเน้นให้ผู้เรียนตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของการสื่อสารข้ามวัฒนธรรมและการต่อรองความหมายในฐานะสมรรถนะพื้นฐานที่จำเป็นต่อการปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้คนจากต่างวัฒนธรรม ผู้เรียนได้เรียนรู้ก้าวข้ามการใช้ภาษาเพียงอย่างเดียว โดยฝึกการตีความมุมมองทางวัฒนธรรม การปรับกลยุทธ์การสื่อสารให้เหมาะสมกับบริบท และการสร้างความเข้าใจร่วมกับผู้คนที่มีภูมิหลังด้านภาษาและวัฒนธรรมที่แตกต่างกัน

On 20 July 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., students from the English for International Communication Program participated in a lecture and workshop titled “Understanding Vietnam: Vietlish Culture and Survival Vietnamese for Cross-Cultural Communication” at the Innovation Room, 6th Floor, Chalermprakiat 56th Anniversary Building. The session was honored by the presence of Ms. Hoàng Thị Mai Sương from HCMC University of Technology and Engineering, who served as the guest speaker and shared her valuable knowledge and expertise.

The lecture aimed to enhance students’ understanding of Vietnamese culture, introduce practical Survival Vietnamese for everyday communication, and strengthen their cross-cultural communication skills in an international context. It was designed to help students communicate effectively and appropriately with people from different cultural backgrounds while fostering mutual understanding and respect.

Throughout the program, students gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience through both lectures and interactive workshop activities. They learned about linguistic differences, cultural values, social etiquette, and effective ways to adapt when communicating and working with Vietnamese people. These experiences provided essential skills for communicating in multicultural environments and preparing for future international careers.

The English for International Communication Program would like to express its sincere appreciation to Ms. Hoàng Thị Mai Sương for generously sharing her knowledge, professional experience, and valuable perspectives. เมื่อวันที่ 20 กรกฎาคม 2569 เวลา 12.30–17.00 น. นักศึกษาสาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารสากล ได้เข้าร่วมการบรรยายและเวิร์กชอปในหัวข้อ “Understanding Vietnam: Vietlish Culture and Survival Vietnamese for Cross-Cultural Communication” ณ Innovation Room ชั้น 6 อาคารเฉลิมพระเกียรติ 56 พรรษา โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก Ms. Hoàng Thị Mai Sương จาก HCMC University of Technology and Engineering เป็นวิทยากรบรรยายและถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้

การบรรยายครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมเวียดนาม การใช้ภาษาเวียดนามในชีวิตประจำวัน (Survival Vietnamese) รวมถึงการสื่อสารข้ามวัฒนธรรมในบริบทระหว่างประเทศ เพื่อให้นักศึกษาสามารถสื่อสารกับผู้คนจากต่างวัฒนธรรมได้อย่างเหมาะสม มีประสิทธิภาพ และเกิดความเข้าใจอันดี

ตลอดกิจกรรม นักศึกษาได้รับทั้งความรู้และประสบการณ์ผ่านการบรรยายและกิจกรรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ ได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับความแตกต่างทางภาษา ค่านิยม มารยาททางสังคม และแนวทางการปรับตัวเมื่อต้องสื่อสารหรือทำงานร่วมกับชาวเวียดนาม ซึ่งเป็นทักษะสำคัญสำหรับการสื่อสารในสังคมพหุวัฒนธรรมและการทำงานในระดับนานาชาติ

On 13rd July 2026, from 13:00-17:00, at room 604, Innovation Room, students in English for International Communication program participated in a Cross-Cultural Communication Lecture and Workshop Series held by Mrs. Panisa Kurakan.

The lecture, "Intercultural Communication in Workplace" was designed to enhance participants' knowledge of cross-cultural communication styles and understanding of linguistic different among employees through the process of the five speech acts.

Troughout the program, students engaged in Q&A sessions with the lecturer and completed quizzes to reinforce their learning. The program also gives valuable insights, and also developing openness to diverse forms of communication, and prepare them to be ready in their future work within an organization.

We would like to express our sincre appreciation to Mrs. Panisa Kurakan for sharing her valuable knowledge and insightful perspectives. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to organize similar knowledge-sharing activities in the future.

การบรรยายครั้งมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างการรูปเเบบการสื่อสารที่เเตกต่างระหว่างวัฒนธรรมเเละเข้าใจการเเสดงท่าทาง ภาษาที่หลากหลายโดยผ่านกระบวนการทั้ง 5 วัจนะกรรม

ตลอดการทำกิจกรรมนักศึกษาได้มีการตอบคำถามกับอาจารย์ผู้สอน มีเเบบทดสอบเพื่อทบทวนความจำ ทั้งนี้ยังได้ประสบการณ์พร้อมตระหนักรู้ เปิดรับการสื่อสารที่หลากหลายเพื่อเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการทำงานในองค์กร
