🌏 Accounting Students in Global Business Innovation & Cultural Immersion Summer Program 2026

Six of our third-year Accounting students joined the FCU–MFU Global Business Innovation & Cultural Immersion Summer Program 2026, together with 27 students from Mae Fah Luang University and Feng Chia University.

The four-week program included one week at Mae Fah Luang University and three weeks at Feng Chia University, Taiwan. During the program, students took business classes, learned about different cultures, and had the opportunity to learn and work with students from another university.

Our six Accounting students were:
Ei Myo Thant Zin (Emma)
Lu Min Htet (Kai)
Myat Pan Hmone Thin (Pan)
Nannalin Bandhumanandana (Nalin)
Nattida Apiban (Fai)
Wutt Yee Oo (Winnie)

After successfully completing the program, students will receive 3 credits of “Special Topics in Business” course that can be used by our Accounting students as part of their free-elective course.

The Accounting Program is happy to see our students take part in learning experiences beyond the classroom, giving them opportunities to learn about business, experience a different culture, and build connections with students from abroad.

🎉 Welcoming Our Newest Students to the Accounting Family!

30 July 2026 marked a special day for our first-year students as part of "How to Live and Learn on Campus 2026 (HLLC 2026)" — Mae Fah Luang University's annual orientation programme for the 28th batch!

In the morning session, our freshers from the School of Management had the honor of meeting the Dean, receiving a warm welcome, and valuable guidance as they begin their academic journey at MFU.

Meanwhile, in the afternoon session, our new students got the chance to meet all of our dedicated Accounting lecturers — putting faces to names, learning about the programme ahead, and starting to build the connections that will support them throughout their time at MFU.

We are thrilled to welcome our newest students into the Accounting family. Here's to four incredible years of learning, growth, and success together! 💛

Our Accounting program students have wrapped up a 10-day journey with the International SULAM Mobility 2026 program — a collaborative initiative between Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia and Mae Fah Luang University!

Together with 10 accounting students from UiTM, our students worked hands-on with a real local SME — Happy Plus Ice Cream — applying their accounting and business knowledge to solve real-world challenges. From data collection and interviews to crafting a full Business Advisory Report and presenting it directly to the business owner, our students experienced what it really means to put classroom learning into practice.

We are incredibly proud of our 6 Accounting students who represented MFU in this program:

เมื่อวันที่ 11 มิถุนายน 2569 สาขาวิชาการบัญชี สำนักวิชาการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง รู้สึกเป็นเกียรติอย่างยิ่งที่ได้ต้อนรับคณะอนุกรรมการกลั่นกรองปริญญาหรือประกาศนียบัตรในวิชาการบัญชี ภายใต้คณะกรรมการวิชาชีพบัญชีด้านการศึกษาและเทคโนโลยีการบัญชี สภาวิชาชีพบัญชี ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ (TFAC)

On 11th June 2026, the Accounting Program, School of Management, Mae Fah Luang University, was honored to welcome the Subcommittee on Accreditation of Accounting Degrees and Certificates under the Committee on Accounting Education and Technology of the Federation of Accounting Professions (TFAC).

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on accounting curriculum accreditation, international education standards, quality assurance, learning outcome assessment, and strategies to encourage graduates to pursue careers in the accounting profession.

The program sincerely appreciates the Subcommittee and TFAC for sharing their expertise and valuable recommendations. Their insights will contribute significantly to the continuous enhancement of our accounting curriculum and the quality of accounting education. 🙏👏🏻
