English Language Teaching Department Strengthens Quality Development through KM Study Visit

On September 1, 2026, academic and support staff from the Department of English Language Teaching, Faculty of Education, Burapha University, visited the Business English Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, as part of the KM 2026 Study Visit.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences in program management, teaching and learning, and program-level quality assurance, with reference to the AUN-QA framework, while strengthening academic and research networks.

The TEGL team sincerely thanks the Business English Program for generously sharing their experiences and good practices in program management and quality development, as well as for their warm hospitality and thoughtful welcome. The insights gained from this visit will contribute to the Department’s continuous improvement and the development of its programs toward greater quality and sustainability. 🌱📚

Participants also engaged in meaningful discussions on ethical issues and strategies for preparing manuscripts for international journals.

📚 “Can Thai students thrive in CLIL classrooms?”

The study explores how Thai lower secondary students with limited English proficiency engage in Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) classrooms, highlighting the importance of gradual task sequencing, explicit language scaffolding, and purposeful support in CLIL instruction.

👏 This achievement is especially noteworthy as the research has been published in a journal ranked Q1 by SJR, reflecting the quality and international recognition of the research.

🔬 ที่งานวิจัยค้นพบว่าผู้เรียนในชั้นเรียนสองภาษาอาจเข้าใจเนื้อหาวิชาได้ดี แม้ยังมีข้อจำกัดด้านภาษาอังกฤษ โดยสามารถปรับตัวด้วยการใช้ภาษาไทย การถามเพื่อน และเครื่องมือแปลภาษาเพื่อช่วยในการเรียนรู้ ชี้ให้เห็นว่าการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ CLIL ควรเปิดโอกาสให้ใช้ภาษาอย่างยืดหยุ่นและเหมาะสม เพื่อช่วยลดอุปสรรคทางภาษาและส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้เนื้อหาวิชาได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
