Magnificent Milestone: Chaopraya University reaffirms its excellence by securing the Princess Cups for the fourth time at the CPU 4th ASEAN Grand Prix Youth Robotics & Esports Competition 2026. Held from 10–12 July 2026, the event welcomed nearly 700 teams and up to 5,000 participants from across Thailand, alongside international teams, making it one of the country's largest robotics and esports competitions.

Reaching Higher: CPU Strengthens Collaboration with LiuGong, People’s Republic of China 🇨🇳

On April 4, 2026, the executive team of Chaopraya University, in partnership with KTIS Group, had the pleasure of welcoming a distinguished delegation from Guangxi Liugong Agriculture Machinery Co., Ltd. (LiuGong), People’s Republic of China, during their official visit to the university.

This visit represented an important milestone in strengthening international academic ties. Both sides held forward-looking discussions on the co-development of innovative academic programmes, designed to prepare students with the competencies, adaptability, and global perspective essential for success in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape.

A key highlight of the visit was the presence of Mr Xiao Xiaolei, President of LiuGong, who delivered a compelling special lecture on the company’s advanced manufacturing technologies. His presentation provided valuable perspectives on contemporary industrial innovation and emphasised the transformative role of technology in advancing the future of agriculture and engineering.

The session was attended by faculty members and staff from Chaopraya University, alongside participants from Viriyalai Nakhon Sawan Vocational College, fostering a dynamic atmosphere of knowledge exchange and professional growth.

Unwavering Advancement: CPU President Visits the Royal Thai Embassy in Beijing, China 🇨🇳

On April 3, 2026, Dr Darat Siriviriyakul Vibhatakalasa, President of Chaopraya University, accompanied by Dr. Chiranun Kamolsin, Assistant to the President, and the CPU International Affairs Office team, paid a courtesy call on Ms.Pasupha Chinvarasopak, Minister Counsellor for Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Royal Thai Embassy, Beijing.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for both parties to exchange views on advancing academic cooperation and to explore avenues for sustained collaboration in higher education, science, research, and innovation between Thailand and the People’s Republic of China. “Shining Bright and Flying High: The Drone Skills Training Program Takes Off!”

Marking another significant milestone, Chaopraya University 🇹🇭, in collaboration with Fuyang Institute of Technology 🇨🇳 , organised a Drone Skills Training Program, delivered by expert instructors from Fuyang Institute of Technology, People’s Republic of China.🇨🇳

The program comprised a theoretical component conducted online from March 16-20, 2026, followed by an onsite practical training session held from March 23-27, 2026 at the Chaopraya Convention Hall, Chaopraya University, Mueang District, Nakhon Sawan Province.

On March 27, 2026, the Governor of Nakhon Sawan Province visited the event and delivered an encouraging address, along with four Deputy Governors, as well as Dr.Supoj Wangpreedalertkul, a member of the Chaopraya University Council, and several heads of government agencies, who observed the training activities and demonstrations.

The program has now been successfully completed. A total of 98 participants were awarded Certificates of Participation, jointly conferred by Fuyang Institute of Technology and Chaopraya University, in recognition of their successful completion of the program. #อบรมโดรนมอเจ้า #โดรนมหาวิทยาลัยเจ้าพระยา

Chaopraya University, in collaboration with Fuyang Institute of Technology, People’s Republic of China, is organizing a Drone Skills Training Program aimed at developing competencies in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operation and producing skilled “drone pilots” to support national development.

The program will be attended by 100 trainees and will be conducted in two phases: online theoretical training from 16–20 March 2026, followed by onsite practical training from 23–27 March 2026 at the Chaopraya Convention Hall, Mueang District, Nakhon Sawan, Thailand.

Participants who successfully meet the academic and competency assessment criteria of the program will receive a certificate of qualification, which can support their professional development and future careers in the field of drone technology.

On March 4, 2026, Mr.Palakorn Suwanrath, Privy Councilor, presided over the commencement ceremony for graduates of Chaopraya University. The President of the University Council, the President, Vice Presidents, Assistants to the President, and senior executives of the University and KTIS Group attended the ceremony.

On this auspicious occasion, the University Council conferred the Honorary Doctor of Arts in Organization Development Administration upon Mr. Romlee Sumalee and (Dr.) Shahrul Azwan Bin Mohamad @ Endut in recognition of their distinguished contributions. They received the honorary degree alongside recipients of doctoral, master’s, graduate diploma, and bachelor’s degrees.

Officially Kicked Off! Chaopraya University Joins Hands with Fuyang Institute of Technology, China 🇹🇭🇨🇳
Dr Darat Siriviriyakul Vibhatakalasa, President of Chaopraya University 🇹🇭, presided over the MOU signing ceremony with Fuyang Institute of Technology, China 🇨🇳, led by the institute’s President and senior executives.

Also in attendance were Dr Chiranun Kamolsin, Assistant to the President; Asst Prof Nawarat Pinamnaj, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology; and the International Affairs Office team of Chaopraya University. This significant ceremony marks an important milestone in strengthening academic cooperation between the two institutions.

Chaopraya University (CPU), led by Dr Chiranun K., Assistant to the President, together with the management team, welcomed delegations from Fuyang Institute of Technology and Anhui Xinzhi Education Technology Co., Ltd. 🇨🇳 to discuss a collaborative Drone Training Course Project.

CPU remains committed to empowering the younger generation by equipping them with future-ready skills through the responsible use of drones, AI, robotics, and esports.
