Penn State African American Alumni Organization Founded in 1993, the Penn State African American Alumni Organization was established to promote and enhance African American alumni participation at PSU.

The purpose of the AAAO is to assist the University in the recruitment and retention of the African-American students, faculty and staff; to encourage and support educational opportunities for African-American students; to assist the provision of financial support to African-American students; to provide means by which African-American Alumni may be involved in the affairs of the University; and,

to foster a sense of pride in and a commitment to the University while enhancing its reputation and prestige. The AAAO seeks to be the flagship organization for Penn State Black Alumni and friends to connect to the University, one another and the Black community in their respective metropolitan areas. We always look for and encourage feedback from our constituents on how we can better serve you. Please feel free to contact us!
