MSU Exchange Students Meet Thai Consul General in Nanning
Exchange students from Mahasarakham University joined Thai students from Huachiew Chalermprakiet University and Chandrakasem Rajabhat University in a meeting with the Consul General of Thailand in Nanning, China, on May 12, 2026. The meeting provided Thai students studying at Guangxi Minzu University with guidance, support information, and important consular contact channels during their studies abroad.
At present, 76 Thai students are studying at Guangxi Minzu University in various fields, including Business Chinese and Chinese Language Teaching. Among them, 68 are exchange students and 4 are undergraduate students. On this occasion, the Consul General emphasized the role of the Royal Thai Consulate General in protecting and assisting Thai citizens overseas, including Thai students in Guangxi. He also introduced consular services, emergency contact channels, and official news channels of the Consulate General to help students continue receiving useful information and support while studying in China.

来自玛哈沙拉坎大学的交换生于2026年5月12日与来自华侨崇圣大学和占他拉卡森皇家大学的泰国学生一同会见了泰王国驻中国南宁总领事Mr. Sakeson Sarobol。此次会面旨在为在广西民族大学学习的泰国学生提供指导、支持信息以及在海外学习期间的重要领事联系方式。
目前，共有76名泰国学生在广西民族大学学习，专业涵盖商务汉语、汉语教学等领域。其中，68人为交换生，4人为本科生。借此机会，总领事强调了泰王国驻南宁总领事馆在保护和协助海外泰国公民（包括在广西学习的泰国学生）方面的重要职责。同时，他还向学生介绍了领事服务、紧急联系方式以及总领事馆官方新闻渠道，以帮助学生在中国学习期间持续获得有用的信息与支持。
