A Heartwarming Start to Cultural Exchange! 🌏❤️

February 14, 2026 — What a beautiful first day of the University of Science and Technology (MUST) Cultural Immersion Program!

Our international students were warmly welcomed into the Taiwanese host family, where they shared a sumptuous meal together and exchanged stories about their lives and experiences in Taiwan. As they celebrates the Lunar New Year with their local families, the students openly shared their feelings—excitement mixed with a touch of nervousness, but above all, joyful anticipation for the adventures and bonds to come.

The day included a meaningful sharing based on the bible message they received from Pastor Ester. Also, they visited to Zion Apostolic Kingdom Christian Church in North Hsinchu, where one of our host families serves as pastor.

Students had the opportunity to appreciate and learn about different Christian traditions and worship practices. Before leaving, everyone joined together to sing "Bless the Lord O My Soul" in Mandarin—a beautiful moment of unity and cross-cultural connection! 🎵

The group then explored the vibrant local flower market, filled with colorful blooms and festive atmosphere, before taking a leisurely stroll through Hsinchu Park, discovering the natural beauty and charm of the area.

This is just the beginning of an incredible journey of cultural exchange, friendship, and mutual understanding. We can't wait to see what memories these students and families will create together!

2026 February 5:
University of Science and Technology (MUST), under the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, has prepared 32 diplomas for the 4th batch graduates. Once these students have cleared all school obligations, they will receive their diplomas and have the opportunity to work in Taiwan.

This marks another significant milestone for the MUST Academy-Industry Collaboration Program for International Students under the New Southbound Policy.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Government of Taiwan: particularly the Ministry of Education, Minghsin University, the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management—especially their advisors, professors, and project assistants, the International Affairs Office - and the Missionary Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo-Scalabrinians (MSCS), who have supported the academic, psycho-spiritual, and overall well-being of our Filipino students throughout this program.

As the Lunar New Year approaches, we wish you good health, continued success, happiness, and prosperity.
