【 Welcoming Penn State University to Taipei Tech! A High-Level Milestone in Global Collaboration】

Today, Taipei Tech had the absolute honor of welcoming Dr. Anna Marshall, Associate Director for Asia Partnerships at Penn State Global! To mark this significant occasion, our President, Dr. Yi-Jun Jen, warmly received Dr. Marshall and engaged in a special gift and pennant exchange, symbolizing the strong bond and mutual respect between our two institutions. Led by our Dean of International Affairs, Dr. Chuan-Ming Liu, deans and faculty delegates from various administrative offices and colleges gathered for a highly fruitful discussion. Our conversation centered on pivotal future initiatives, including dual degree programs, student exchange opportunities, and joint research collaborations. We are incredibly excited to create broader global stages for our faculty members and students! As you can see from the photos, the energy in the room was amazing, especially with everyone sporting the classic Penn State caps! Thank you, Penn State, for the wonderful visit and beautiful gifts. We look forward to a vibrant and successful partnership ahead!

It was a great pleasure to welcome the delegation from Can Tho University, Vietnam, to NTUT today. Following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between our two institutions in March this year, this visit provided an excellent opportunity to further explore potential collaborations in semiconductors, railway transportation, engineering education, and faculty and student exchanges.

As one of the most prestigious comprehensive universities in the Mekong Delta region, Can Tho University has established strong foundations in engineering, agriculture, aquaculture, science, and technology. We look forward to strengthening our partnership through joint research initiatives, talent cultivation, and academic exchange programs, working together to nurture the next generation of globally minded professionals.

Education knows no borders, and collaboration creates opportunities for the future. We are excited to deepen the partnership between National Taipei University of Technology and Can Tho University and to create new possibilities for innovation, academic excellence, and international engagement.

1. Eligibility
Open to all current undergraduate and graduate students from public and private universities and colleges nationwide.
2. Course Schedule
• Date: June 6 (Saturday) to June 7 (Sunday), 2026 (2-day program).
• Language of Instruction: Mandarin Chinese (課程以中文授課)
• Certificate: Eligible participants who attend and complete the entire course will receive an electronic Certificate of Attendance after the program concludes.

NTUT Engineering Education Aligns with Global Standards: 11 Undergraduate Programs Awarded the EUR-ACE® Label!

National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT) has achieved another major international milestone! Eleven of its undergraduate programs have officially received the EUR-ACE® Label (European Accredited Engineer) from the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE). NTUT now holds the highest number of EUR-ACE® accredited undergraduate programs among all national technological universities in Taiwan, with all 11 programs securing the maximum accreditation period of six years.

The EUR-ACE® Label is a highly prestigious certificate of quality for engineering education in Europe. This accreditation signifies that NTUT’s curriculum fully complies with European engineering education standards, significantly boosting our graduates' global competitiveness when seeking overseas employment, applying for professional engineering qualifications, or pursuing advanced degrees abroad.

From curriculum design and student learning outcomes to industry-academia collaboration, NTUT remains dedicated to expanding the international reach of its engineering education, nurturing the next generation of engineering talent with both a global mindset and hands-on expertise.

Nobel Laureate Prof. Michael Levitt Visits NTUT to Discuss AI & Life Sciences

Professor Michael Levitt, 2013 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, recently visited NTUT for the 2026 Nobel-Tech International Scientific Dialogue. As a pioneer in cross-disciplinary research, Prof. Levitt shared half a century of scientific insights and engaged with students on AI-era talent cultivation, global tech trends, and innovation.

The event also featured International Youth Observers, giving students frontline access to world-class scientific discourse. NTUT continues to drive global academic impact by deepening AI education, research, and international collaboration.
