97 bags of trash. 370 kg of waste. 1 incredible community. 🌊💪

What a day at Green Bay Beach! Yesterday’s cleanup was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve together. As part of Stanford’s Beyond the Farm volunteer month, the Stanford Club of Taiwan teamed up with our friends from the Columbia Club, Berkeley Club, and MIT Club to clear the coastline—and the turnout was record-breaking!

With over 70 people joining us, this was our largest turnout since we began our annual beach cleanup five years ago. Seeing familiar faces, meeting new friends, and watching the next generation of little environmentalists in action made the day truly special. ❤️

A huge shout-out to:
• Our co-organizers at the Columbia Club of Taiwan, Berkeley Club of Taiwan, and MIT Club of Taiwan for their partnership.
• The carpool drivers who helped everyone get to the shore safely.
• The "behind-the-scenes" heroes who helped with setup, weighing, and logistics.

On behalf of the planning team (Wendy, Brian, I-Ting, F***y, Zekai, and myself), thank you to every participant. Your hard work made a real difference for Taiwan’s shores. We are so inspired by this community!

Over the Feb 28th weekend, a group of Stanford alums—joined by friends from MIT and Princeton—set out for a three-day cycling adventure on Taiwan’s East Coast. 🚴‍♂️

We took on the legendary Huatung Four Crossings, rolled through the rice fields of Chishang, rode stretches right along the Pacific, and passed through the beautiful valleys around Yuli and Ruisui. Plenty of climbing, plenty of scenery, and plenty of good company.

In between rides: great local food, hot springs, and the kind of conversations that only happen after long days on the bike.

Three days, amazing roads, and even better people. Definitely a weekend to remember.

Huge thanks to Stanford alum Edgar Chiu and all our incredible guests from the 10/18 event! 🚀

Edgar kicked things off by sharing how his early career at IBM ignited a drive for excellence 💪—a spark that later inspired him to take the bold leap and help build the hugely successful Whoscall in its early days!

Today, his focus is on taking innovation global through SparkLabs Taiwan, flying founders to the world’s hottest startup hubs—from Seoul to Riyadh 🌎✈️—to connect with top markets and investors.

We also got a glimpse into the transformative lessons from the Stanford GSB Executive Program—a reminder to never stop learning and growing. 🙌
