They were warmly welcomed by the Hospital Executive Director, Dr. Charlotte Aguti Ongom and the Human Resource Manager, Rev. Elizabeth Akandinda who led them through the Hospital mission, vision,core values,,as well as policies and guidelines.

October is here! 🎉 And so is our highly anticipated external conference, hosted by St. Luke's Chapel at Bwindi Community Hospital.

We are excited to bring together students from secondary schools in Kanungu and nursing schools in the Kigezi sub-region for a 3-day event focused on nurturing spiritual growth and well-being.

This conference will be a wonderful opportunity for our students to connect, reflect, and grow alongside like-minded individuals.

We are proud to prioritize the holistic development of our students at Uganda Nursing School Bwindi (UNSB) and Uganda College of Health Sciences Bwindi (UCHSB), recognizing the importance of spiritual growth in shaping compassionate and excellent healthcare professionals.

Here's exciting news to kick off the month!

We are thrilled to announce that Uganda Nursing School Bwindi and Uganda College of Health Sciences Bwindi are evolving into the African University of Science and Management (AUSM)!

We are proud to introduce the Inaugural University Council of AUSM, a diverse team of 20 esteemed members, comprising academics, health experts, faith leaders, and community developers, who will drive the university's strategic direction and governance under the leadership of Prof. Johnson Masiko Wise and Dr. Nathan Nshakira.

Building on the legacy of our institutions, AUSM will continue our mission of training compassionate and competent professionals, including those from the Batwa indigenous communities, to serve Bwindi, Kanungu, and beyond.

"Ladies and gentlemen, for this 4th graduation ceremony, a total of 211 students will be awarded diplomas and certificates in nursing and midwifery
Of these graduands,65.9%are females, and 34.1%are males.

24.2%of the graduands are midwives while 75.8% graduates are nurses."
