SECONDARY SCHOOLS MDD COMPETITION, 2019 KABAROLE

Buddo secondary school from Wakiso district has been crowned the champion of 2019 secondary school national music dance and drama festival.
The one week event started on September 1st and ended on 7th Saturday in Kabarole district.
Buddo SS which scored 986 points in 11 items beat the defending champion Mackay College, Nateete, which came second with 984 points. Bweranyangi girls Secondary School, Bushenyi came third with 954 points.
60 secondary schools participated in this year’s competitions.
The hosts Nyakasura School and Kyembabe Girls’ School took 21st and 15th positions respectively, while St Mary’s Simbya S.S from Bundibugyo district came last in 60th position with 521 points.
