Faculty member Chephra McKee, Pharm.D., and alum Kristin Bohannan, Pharm.D, with the TTUHSC-Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy in Abilene recently contributed to a story in The New York Times about vaccinations and the COVID-19 pandemic. For parents worried about the safety of vaccines, Dr. McKee told the publication that health providers should be educating them about the benefits of immunizations and risks involved in refusing to vaccinate their children.

Even before the pandemic, many parents rejected readily available, safe and effective immunizations that can protect their children.

Cool cover page! I love science and sci fi movies! I recently saw a sci thriller called Empathy Inc. which is about businessman's investment into Xtreme Virtual Reality technology that he later discovered was corrupted by a mad scientist. What I love about this film that’s not shown in other movies is how it raises the issue of science “technology abuse and awareness”. It's a great movie which is why I recommend it’s a great movie late-night VOD watch!
