Abilene will march, listen Monday to honor Martin Luther King Jr.

All are invited to a march today (1/21) at 2:00 pm honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The march will proceed across the MLK Memorial Bridge on East Highway 80. I find it easiest to park near the Woodson Center for Excellence on Cockerell Drive (see Google Maps). McMurry’s Servant Leadership program invites all who want to meet for lunch at Whataburger on E. Highway 80 beginning at 12:30 and then proceed to the march.

Crossing bridge signifies community unity.
