SVA Survey

Did you know there is no federal or national database that contains demographic information on student veterans? This leads to an under sampling of student veterans and an over sampling of other student groups, often resulting in inaccurate reporting.

Every year, we depend on current student veterans and alumni to help us tell their success stories in higher education. The SVA Census is an annual survey collecting this vital demographic data on student veterans and SVA alumni for policy makers, SVA partners, and the public.

We use this data to inform our programs and services, inform other veterans' groups and the public, and to support our advocacy work on Capitol Hill.

Please help us complete the 2020 SVA Census by taking the survey below by October 30.

South Carolina Department of Veterans Affairs - Veteran Survey
This study is being conducted by Vantage Point Foundation and the College of Charleston in support of the South Carolina Department of Veteran Affairs (SCDVA), with the goal of informing the SCDVA of current issues facing the military veterans residing in South Carolina.

SOUTH CAROLINA VIRTUAL CAREER FAIR

As we approach the fall semester, most colleges who planned on doing on-campus career fairs have had to cancel due to COVID. In response, the South Carolina Association of Colleges and Employers has partnered with universities across the state to organize a virtual fair for all college students and alumni in South Carolina on August 12th from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Opportunities are available for full-time, part-time and internship positions.
