Kamp Kappa 2026

"Honoring the Past. Inspiring The Future."

KAMP KAPPA, a Cornerstone initiative of the Alexandria-Fairfax (VA) Alumni Chapter's guide right program, offers a transformative camp experience for young males aged 10 to 16 in the metropolitan Washington, D.C., area. Since 1993, our mission has been to foster cooperation, self-respect, and leadership through outdoor education and recreation. We empower campers to develop confidence and social awareness, to become leaders who shape a brighter future for themselves and their communities.

- Community Engagement

This week-long event provides a positive outdoor and educational experience for youth, including swimming, archery, and team sports. Connect with experienced mentors who provide guidance, such as academic enrichment, leadership development, and cultural awareness. Engagement in community awareness programs to instill a sense of responsibility and civic duty. While the cost per camper is $650, we offer this experience free to all campers based on the generosity of our contributors and sponsors.

Today, we announced a historic milestone.

The Alexandria–Fairfax (VA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (E) is proud to begin the celebration of our 50th Anniversary, marking five decades of leadership, scholarship, mentorship, and community service across Northern Virginia and the Greater Washington region.

From investing more than $1 million in scholarships to mentoring generations of young men through programs like Kamp Kappa, AF has remained committed to building leaders and strengthening communities.

Today also marks the 90-day countdown to our June 5 chartering anniversary.

Today, with heavy hearts and profound gratitude, we gathered to honor the life and legacy of our dear Brother Thomas Wiley II, a Spring 2009 initiate of the Alexandria-Fairfax (VA) Alumni Chapter.

His presence, service, and contributions to will not be forgotten, and his loss is deeply felt throughout our chapter and beyond.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, his line brothers of Spring 2009 – K.S. 99 Problems, and to all who knew and loved him.

Brother Wiley, may we forever honor the legacy you leave behind and cherish the moments of brotherhood you shared with each of us.

This Founders’ Day, the Alexandria-Fairfax (VA) Alumni Chapter proudly reflects on a milestone year—as we celebrate 115 years of our illustrious bond we also acknowledge upcoming 50th Anniversary this June. For nearly half a century, our chapter has carried forward the Founders’ vision by building leaders, serving our communities, and strengthening the bond of brotherhood.

What better way to spend a Saturday morning than being rooted in service to our community?

The Brothers showed up strong—fellowshipping, serving, and uplifting families across Northern Virginia. NoVa Project Give Back ( )set an ambitious goal of feeding 600 families this year, and together we moved with purpose to make a real impact.

Project Giveback continues to bring positive change to the communities we call home, aiming to uplift families and leave a lasting impact throughout Northern Virginia.

Service. Brotherhood. Community.
That’s how we build a stronger Northern Virginia, one family at a time.
