On June 12, Rasmussen University proudly dedicated the Michael Seaver Simulation Center at our Central Pasco campus, honoring a colleague whose compassion, creativity, and commitment to student success left a lasting impact on our university community.

Family members, colleagues, nursing faculty, university leadership, and students gathered to celebrate Mike’s life and legacy through heartfelt remarks, the unveiling of the simulation center bearing his name, and a commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony.

As Central Pasco’s first Simulation Technician, Mike transformed the simulation experience for nursing students, creating realistic learning environments that built confidence, clinical judgment, and compassionate caregiving skills. His attention to detail, welcoming spirit, and unwavering support helped countless students prepare for their future careers in healthcare.

While Mike’s passing leaves a tremendous void, his influence will continue to be felt every day through the students who learn, grow, and practice in the space he helped create.

Thank you, Mike, for the lives you touched and the legacy you leave behind.
