Here is a close up shot of the new copper lightning protection wiring we installed at the highest point on College Hall. We are doing the same at Morgan Hall and Johnson Chapel.

Thankfully, tropical storm Henri has been mild in our region. The winds, however, were enough to damage this 100+ year old Sweet Gum tree in front of Charles Drew residence. Unfortunately, the tree is now compromised beyond saving and will be removed in the near future.

Carpenter/mason Tim Eddy and Building Trades Maintenance Worker Ron Adams are busy repairing the granite steps at Memorial Hill this afternoon, and the Grounds department cleaned the monument. This special place is ready for incoming students!

Last year, students advocated for bottle filling stations in the Residence Halls. We are happy to report that stations were installed in all remaining residence halls this summer.
