The New England winter is in full swing! Are you prepared to drive? Make sure you have all the tools to stay safe this winter by building a winter car safety kit! Your kit should include:
1. A snow brush to clean off your windshield and roof
2. A small collapsible shovel in case your car is snowed in by the snow-plows.
3. Gloves and a warm blanket in case of an emergency like a break-down
4. Anti-freeze liquid to keep your engine running smoothly in the cold weather.
5. De-icer or rock salt. If you're stuck on an icy road this can help you get some traction.
And Jumper cables in case your car needs a start! It's not uncommon for car batteries to need a jump on an icy morning

01/25/2019

The winter weather has hit in full force. Make sure you know how to prepare your car! Here are some tips to get you started!
1: Think ahead! If the forecast says snow, flip your windshield wipers up when you park your car. This prevents them from freezing to the windshield.
2: Fill up! Always keep more than one-quarter of a tank of gas in your car to prevent your fuel lines from freezing.
3: Power up! Don't drive often? Start your car from once a week to make sure everything is working and your battery isn't dead.
4: Be Safe! After it snows, make sure you clear your car off completely. It's a safety hazard because snow and ice fly off the car and can damage cars or cause accidents. In MA it's illegal to drive with any snow on your car so always take the time to clear off your roof and windshield and avoid getting a ticket.

New England winters are a force of nature. Make sure you're prepared for the cold! Invest in a good pair of gloves, warm socks, and a thick winter coat. It's essential if you want to stay warm here at UMass. Another important item, snowboots! A good pair of snow-boots is an essential piece of your winter wardrobe, especially since Western MA has seen record breaking snow-fall in the past few years.

Hello all! In response to the university’s decision on tearing down North Village, several of residents are organizing a meeting tomorrow (Sep.14) at 6 at H2! Please come join us and express your concerns. Hope to see you all tomorrow!
Good morning everyone! I took the weekend to organize & get rid off some baby items. Unfortunately babies grow up so fast & I’m selling this bathtub. I loved it so much; it’s easy to manage, and can be used from 0m-18m. I’m on apt. G-23, $5 and it’s yours! More pictures below the post :)
A nice dining set in new condition $100.
